FDS tents was great to work with. Our venue had a permanent tent that FDS installed, and they were in charge of all add-ons. They are highly professional and responsive, and installed the tent add-ons we'd ordered well in advance.

Lee and the team at FDS are the best! They were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. They were also flexible about where and how to install our extra tent. Both the tents and the lighting looked terrific and the entire process was seamless. We could not recommend them more highly based on our wedding experience.

Lee at FDS is amazing. He provided a tent and dance floor for our wedding. Setup, and tear down happened exactly when we planned and he worked with us to stay in budget. The tent and dance floor was perfect and exactly where we asked.

We loved working with FDS! They provided the sailcloth tent, dance floor, and generator for our wedding at our family farm in Keswick, Virginia. It was GORGEOUS. I've had several guests tell me since the wedding how beautiful the tent was. I have to agree, that thing was perfect.

We had been quoting a couple other vendors in the Central VA area, but FDS was the friendliest, most flexible, and had everything we wanted. They did a few site visits with us, created great layouts of the entire wedding, and were just incredibly helpful during the whole planning process. They were also very quick to answer emails, and they always sounded happy to speak with me. I've noticed a lot of vendors aren't quick to respond and don't always have the best email manners—this is not the case for FDS.

FDS was extremely helpful from the beginning. I was between a couple of tent companies (for my wedding) however, FDS was the most helpful. They immediately started a contract for me and changed it multiple times as my plans changed. Also, they even came to my wedding site (a farm) to meet with me and make sure everything would work out okay. They all have been so nice, helpful, and professional.

Since our reception was outdoors, we needed tents. FDS was recommended to us by our venue, and we didn't think much of using them. We quickly discovered, however, that our vision for our reception was one that had never been attempted before at this venue! More than that, it was one that no one really knew how to do, because it hadn't really been attempted anywhere anyone involved had seen! While for most tent companies this might be an opportunity to try to convince us that our vision is too hard, too unreasonable, and needed to change, this was not the case with FDS. Instead, they set right to work trying to figure out how they could make our reception work the way we wanted it to. The result was better than we even imagined. The tents were gorgeous, and perfectly set up. Everyone complimented us on our set-up, and it wouldn't have been possible without the diligent work of Tom at FDS Tents. If you need a tent at your event, I couldn't recommend them strongly enough.

We worked with Lee at FDS because Grace Estate Winery where we got married has a contract with them as a tent company. We paid for a ceremony tent with lighting, lighting on the reception tent on the property, and a restroom trailer. I noticed about halfway through the night the lights on the reception tent went out on about half of the tent. I am unsure what caused this, maybe the light rain we had? The restroom trailer received rave reviews. I was skeptical about this concept because it sounds a lot like port-a-potty but everyone said it was beautiful inside and clean. The pricing is a bit expensive I think, but it turned out well.

FDS Tents worked very well with our venue, Prince Michel Vineyard. Lorena Kush was very responsive and provided excellent insight on the amount of tables and seating that would fit under our tent. FDS set up their tent early in the week to avoid the rain; this was a very nice touch to their service. However, one issue that we wish FDS would have provided more insight into was the use of heaters. The temperature in the evening definitely called for them, yet FDS didn't proactively recommend them. We trusted their expertise and experience in this situation and it didn't work out for us. Luckily, we got through dinner quickly, and our guests were able to get to the dance floor inside. All in all, FDS Tents is a great value compared to their competitors and we recommend them. Just remember to talk about the TEMPERATURE not just the weather!

FDS was going through some changes in their office management when I worked with them, so they lost my paperwork a couple times, but they were very apologetic and worked with me to straighten everything out. The tent they put up (while crazily expensive, but I think every tent is crazily expensive) was gorgeous. Warning: any tent company will try to sell you on all kinds of fancy lighting. I had twinkle lights around the edge, twinkle lights on the center pole and on swags and that was all I needed. Everything was very bright and warm. FDS came on time to set up and came on time to break down, as well.
