I booked Excel limo to transport my bridal party from my parent's home where we got ready to the ceremony. Booking was no problem. Both ladies I spoke to at Excel were professional and efficient. However, when our limo driver showed up at my parent's home on October 22, 2016 it went from bad to worse. Apparently there was some miscommunication between the booking with the ladies I spoke with over the phone and the limo driver. He got there very early and was under the impression he was taking us to another location prior to the ceremony for pictures. This was never even mentioned or discussed with their office during the booking. We were not ready when he was ready to leave (1.5 hours prior to ceremony start time) and he became more and more agitated as time went on. I can honestly say he was the ONLY stressful part of my day. He even threatened to leave and told my mother in law we had 6 minutes to get in the car or he would have to leave because we would "go over our time limit." When he dropped us off at the ceremony he rudely had the nerve to ask me for a tip. He said, "Just so you know the tip was not included in your pre-payment." I was shocked and taken aback. As a bride on her wedding day I did not just have cash stashed away in my wedding gown. I have always been very good at tipping and I truly felt a ting of guilt for not thinking ahead about tipping our driver; however, you DON'T ask a bride on her wedding day for a tip. The limo company should ask and/or include this in their price when booking.
