He was able to capture a more cinematic and moody look that we were hoping for, while still giving candids of all of the fun and beautiful moments throughout our day. Where do I begin?! My husband and I researched photographers and discovered Ethan through our venue’s recommendation. From the beginning, Ethan was responsive and flexible- something very refreshing while planning a wedding during such an uncertain year. Ethan did our engagement photos, and his work is truly incredible. Every idea we had of how our photos would turn out were surpassed in every aspect. On our wedding day, Ethan created a timeline and stuck to it. In addition to that, Ethan’s vision for staging and execution is nothing short of the most creative and professional experience my husband and I have been a part of. The wedding photos came out just as the engagement photos- absolutely incredible! Ethan gave us the candid, beautiful, and full of love moments in the form of photographs and experiences, and that is something we’re unbelievably grateful to have for the rest of our lives. 10/10 recommend!

Working with Ethan was an absolute pleasure! It was like taking photos with your best friend. During both our engagement photos and wedding photos we were at ease and having a great time! He captured so many candid moments including laughter, happiness, as well as sentimental; giving us a true picture of our wedding day! I’ve already recommended Ethan to two other people who’ve worked with him for their weddings and would say the same thing!!

We hired Ethan for both our engagement photos as well as for our wedding. We hit it off with him right away. He is very friendly and has great customer service. We were amazed just in the fact that he would meet us anywhere to do our photo shoot. We choose Sedona for our location and Ethan came up early to find the perfect spot to shoot our engagement photos. He scoped out the area and had a plan when we arrived. The pictures came out better than I could have ever imagined. He has so much talent and an eye for capturing the most beautiful photos. He made the entire shoot really fun and he had us play little games which got us laughing and captured some really candid and natural looking photos. It really was a blast and we hated for the shoot to be over. We really like his style in the way he edits the photos and how he captures the lighting just perfect.

At our wedding he did also did a phenomenal job of capture all the moments of the ceremony with out being a distraction. We never even saw where he was taking photos from. After the ceremony he made us laugh and we had a lot of fun taking our pictures. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. We am really glad we hired him for the engagement photos so we were able to get to know him before the wedding. During the reception Ethan captured all the moments we cared about and even got all the pictures of our family that we wanted. He had our pictures edited and back to us so fast that we were able to have them during our honeymoon and we left the day after our wedding for the honeymoon. The whole experience from the engagement photos to the wedding was the best we could have asked for. The photos were everything we wanted. Thank you Ethan.

Ethan and his team are on top of their game, full stop. I first saw his work on Instagram and was so impressed that he was the very first vendor I hired - even before securing the venue!- and I don't regret my decision one bit!

Our engagement shoot was so much fun and the photos turned out so gorgeous, which is a feat since both my husband and I are uncomfortable around cameras in general. Ethan is not only a cool dude, but he also created a comfortable atmosphere and had us laughing the whole time! He nailed the type of photos I was envisioning - I am amazed by them a year and a half later and never tire of looking at them!

His patience during my wedding (we were all scatterbrained and getting us to do photos was like herding cats) was legendary, and he anticipated shots of the day that I wanted that I forgot to write down on my list. I haven't gotten the photos back yet (and it's well within the turnaround time still, so I'm not worried) and I'm so stoked to see them.

Having Ethan as our wedding and engagement photographer was the best decision that we ever made. His shooting style was exactly what we were looking for, and any concerns that we may have had disappeared after we first met with him. He is seriously one of the nicest and coolest guys you will ever meet, and he is such a pleasure to work with. He is very responsive and usually responds text and emails within minutes or even seconds, which was really important to us. The fact that he loves fishing as much as we do was just icing on the cake!

Ethan’s approach to capturing moments on camera are incredible. He somehow managed to make the most awkward and second most awkward person (me and my husband) look and feel natural and candid in photos. We honestly had so much fun with Ethan and his photography methods during our wedding. He never made us feel like there was a camera in our face the whole time. He makes the process of being photographed for extended periods of time actually enjoyable, which I never thought would be possible.

Ethan and his second photographer were with us from the time we arrived at our wedding venue to get ready to when we left the venue at the very end of the night. We were impressed with how well Ethan managed to work with our boisterous friends and families and provide authoritative direction for certain shots, but also be a “fly on the wall” during more intimate and quiet moments. Overall, Ethan exceeded every expectation we had and provided us with the best possible experience we could have ever hoped for.

We consider ourselves lucky to have found Ethan for our wedding. He ended up being exactly what we wanted in a photographer. Our engagement photo shoot was amazing, he took us to an awesome location that we never would have thought of ourselves. My wife and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera and Ethan made it so we both had a ton of fun and there was no awkwardness whatsoever. He knows exactly what to say to get natural reactions and candid photos. We got our photos back and you could tell it was us and our personalities, not a staged shoot. On our wedding day he and his second photographer Zach made sure to capture every moment and we couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. There was also a super quick turnaround with getting the pictures back to us edited in the style we were looking for. I would recommend Ethan to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, you won’t find anyone better
