The Escape is an events venue at 820 West Second Street in downtown Owensboro, with service for 100 - 200 guests. The building spent its recent life as a place people came to escape into somewhere else — and the new vibe keeps the same idea but loses the padlocks. It sits a short walk from the riverfront, two blocks from the Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, and new Home2Suites, and within the new "Brewery District" in Owensboro. The Brewery district hosts three distinct venues within the same footprint: The Escape, Owensboro Brew Bridge (Owensboro's first brewery in over 100 years with full service bar and kitchen, and "Beyond the Bridge - An outside play area perfect for all sorts of events. The entire district is family and pet friendly. We host weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, live music, class and family reunions, company meetings and holiday parties, church banquets, and every kind of milestone worth investing a Saturday in.
