Gordonville Grill was easy to work with, the food was AMAZING, and the service was awesome at the wedding reception. Bonus, very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to any bride!

Amazing location and atmosphere? Check. Amazing pricing? Check. Amazing service? Check. Amazing food and drinks? Double check!! :) From very beginning, I felt like 17th Street was thoroughly invested in my wedding, which is something I couldn't really say about the other venues in the area. I spoke many times with the coordinators, both in email and in person. I always received a response right away and all of my questions felt welcome. The food and service was phenomenal and my guests complimented me all night. As a matter of fact, I STILL hear about how good it was! :) All the staff members (shout out to Laurie and Sandy!) went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, and I really can't thank them enough for making it so perfect.

I would not change my decision on catering if someone paid me! These people went out of their way to serve us and were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend them for any event. They showed true southern hospitality and everyone said the food was absolutely delicious and we had more than enough! We had brisket, mashed potato bar, and pecan pie!

When March came around and the world stoped due to the pandemic, I was so afraid of what would become of the most wonderful Wilmette/Chicago wedding Ryan and I had planned. Then April 25 hit, and we saw no real end in site and decided to make moves to Southern Illinois. I reached out to Kelcey at Walker’s Bluff knowing she makes dreams a reality for her job—and boy I knew that she was the only one who could make this living nightmare of completely reworking or wedding in less than 2 months a dream. I was right. Since we were quarantined up in Chicago, Kelcey went above and beyond to show us the venue at the exact time of day we were to have the reception. It was exciting to work with Kelcey through all this because our wedding was the first during these strange times at Walker’s Bluff. She reworked our dreams yet again when the health department came out with new requirements for venues, and truly made sure the location, food, and esthetic was exactly what we wanted. This woman and her team works Miracles! Everyone was so pleased with the professionalism, safety, and care that Walker’s Bluff took for the wedding reception. It was the most wonderful dream that became a reality.
