Equanimity Holdings, LLC dba Equanimity Farm Events covers an area of 15 acres of land, which is primarily used for horse boarding and riding. However, owners Beverly and Gus have also carefully renovated and curated the farm to be able to host all kinds of weddings and events. Couples can begin their special day by saying their vows under the open sky, amongst the pasture. From there, soon-to-be-weds can journey inside the impressive stable for dinner and dancing. This stable is sizable and open, and is primarily used for riding. On the second floor, however, there is a large observation room, with attached restrooms, where meetings and events can take place.

History

The Equanimity farm was originally built in 1820 and has a vast and interesting history. Situated in Brookfield, New Hampshire, which was originally settled by Scots-Irish immigrants in the early 1700s, this area boasts an incredible landscape of rolling hills and farmlands. The farm itself was known as “Brookfield Corner Farm” for a number of years before being sold to owners Beverly Wyman-Stratton and Gus Stratton. They reopened the farm in 2020 as an equine riding and boarding facility.
