Beautiful venue

Birch Hill Farm was the perfect location for our family oriented wedding! Mary ann was easy to work with and very accommodating. The venue package makes it so easy! A beautiful history home for the wedding party to get ready in, a tent for dining, a barn for dancing, and so much more! The kids played cornhole, the bonfire was lit, and there was a perfect bar as well. Highly recommend!

The Wedding Venue of our Dreams

Birch Hill Farm is the most magical place . As soon as I drove up the long driveway and saw the venue for the first time, my heart skipped a beat. It is truly a special place that is tucked away and makes you feel like you are in your own little world. Getting ready in the farmhouse was so special & classic, and opening the door and walking out to the wedding ceremony was a dream. The view of the mountains and beautifully manicured landscape had our guests speechless. We had cocktail hour in the beautiful barn and the reception under the spacious tent. Every single guest told us what a magical place it was and they have never been to a wedding so fun before. It is such a fun venue that has so much character, and there is so much opportunity to add to the decorations and make it feel like your own. They even have a basement full of past decorations to borrow for your wedding. Mary Anne - you were incredible to work with and you made me feel like I was the only bride in the world. Thank you so much for opening your home and sharing the beautiful Birch Hill Farm with us, it will always hold such a special place in our hearts.

Seamless wedding day!

We cannot say enough about this venue! It was exactly what we were looking for (rustic, private, and a beautiful background of mountains and trees). Mary Anne and Kim were so friendly and down to earth. They also have a whole basement under the barn filled with a variety of wedding decor that we were allowed to use! One of our guest told us that he had never felt more comfortable at a wedding in his whole life! Please visit this venue, and you will know what I'm talking about!

Dream come true!

We were recommended Birch Hill Farm by a few locals in the area, I sent an inquiry on their website and received a call immediately the next morning. Mary Anne is absolutely the sweetest and most wonderful, she was easy to work with and treated us as her own family, making sure everything was perfect! The venue is stunning!

Best day ever

Our wedding was everything we could have imagined and more. From the beginning Mary Anne makes you feel like family and is always there via email, text or phone to answer any questions you might have (and believe me I had a bunch!) When we booked we didn’t have a date in mind but knew we wanted August. Mary Anne suggested 8/24/19 because it was Gilford Old Home day in town so there would be fireworks that night and the view is perfect. The fireworks were spectacular and since we didn’t tell a lot of people it was a nice surprise for everyone!

The venue is GORGEOUS. The ceremony area overlooking the mountains is breathtaking. The barn is beautiful without decorating but she even has an entire basement full of decor/jars/signs/etc to choose from so you really don’t even need to buy much. She let us visit a few times to figure out how we wanted to decorate, show my mom and sister, etc. Every time we went to visit there was something new. The second time we visited, she showed us the new awesome reclaimed wood tables, the third time it was the newly revamped bar and the new “curtain of lights” in the barn. She’s constantly adding and improving things and you can tell she loves what she does.

Being able to set up Thursday and a Friday was a huge plus (Mary Anne also spent Saturday setting up with her awesome helper Tara what we weren’t able to finish, which was a good amount! Did I mention she’s amazing?) Having the house to get ready in on the wedding day and use throughout the night was also amazing because the house is beautiful and spacious.

People are still telling me it was one of the funnest weddings they’ve been to and can’t get over how lovely the barn and property are. I could honestly go on and on but I highly recommend Mary Anne and Birch Hill Farm!!

Rustic Elegance

I just recently had my wedding at Birch Hill Farm and it could not have been more perfect! Mary Anne is a joy to work with. She was there every step of the way giving us guidance on vendors, set up/timeline, and has a pantry of goodies to help decorate! The beautiful rustic barn and landscape added a relaxed elegance to our wedding. We still have guests messaging us saying it was the best wedding they have been to. I highly recommended Birch Hill Farm to all future weddings!

Phenomenal Service on All Levels

Birch Hill Farm is set atop a hill in Gilford with scenic views of the surrounding mountains. We looked at Birch Hill late in October of 2019 for our daughter's wedding in July of 2020. Mary Anne not only showed us her beautiful property but walked us step by step through what the wedding day might look like for an outdoor wedding ceremony as well as one under a tent or in the lovely barn should it rain (6 years and 90 weddings - all have been outdoors - impressive!). Mary Anne is so very pleasant and friendly; she was an absolute joy to work with in the planning and execution of the wedding. We did not have a paid wedding planner, and with Mary Anne we didn't need one. She also helped by providing us suggestions and recommendations for other needed vendors (caterers, etc.) as well.

In the unusual circumstances of COVID-19, we weren't sure if the July wedding was going to happen. During this whole uncertain period, Marry Anne was in frequent contact with us regarding Gov. Sununu's re-opening plans, CDC guidelines, and what steps she was taking to make the wedding party, attendees, and her staff safe at Birch Hill should weddings be allowed in time. With just 5 weeks advance notice that wedding receptions were again being allowed, Mary Anne helped make all uncertainties disappear. With Birch Hill, you not only get a beautiful venue but you get a staff of folks dedicated to make your day special. I highly recommend Birch Hill without any doubts or reservations.

Our Birch Hill Farm Wedding was perfect!

I cannot say enough about how perfect our wedding was. The venue has so much to give for such a great price. The ceremony on the lawn, the dinner under the tent, and the reception in the barn were all beautiful. Mary Anne was wonderful to work with and incredibly friendly. You should definitely visit the venue-it is even better in person. When I was looking for venues-what made me most excited about this space was that there is only one wedding per weekend, and we were able to visit and plan decorations for two days prior. In the pantry of the barn is an incredible amount of decor that past brides left behind and was free to use! Vases, table numbers, chalkboard signs, electric candles, easels, and more. The tent, tables, chairs, arbor, restrooms, and even ice are all included. We were also able to supply our own bar which is a huge cost saver. This is absolutely the best place to have your wedding!

Easiest Decision We Ever Made

Birch Hill Farm in Gilford, NH was the first venue we visited and before our 2 hour ride home was up, we were already fully committed to getting married there. Mary Anne, the owner of the venue, could not have been more welcoming right from the get go. She was honestly a huge part of the reason we ended up choosing so quickly in the first place. We had found the venue online and since we were going to be in the area, I reached out to Mary Anne and asked for a last minute tour. Immediately after meeting her we could tell how much pride she takes in what she does. She was a HUGE support throughout the entire planning process and is always there to answer any questions you have (or help calm your nerves with her experience). The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and I can't stress that enough. The beautiful farmhouse has areas for both sides of the wedding party to hang out and relax before the ceremony starts. The doors open immediately into the outdoor area for the ceremony, which has breathtaking views of the Presidential Mountain Range. After the ceremony was over, we took pictures behind the farmhouse with even more views of the mountains! Then came the reception which was absolutely perfect. There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs (and firewood is included!!) to hang out. There is an adorable little open shed called the "Perfect Match" that we used for a cigar bar. Every single aspect of the venue is picturesque. The barn, of course, is the main focus and for good reason. Mary Anne has an entire basement full of decorations (vases, signs, cute little trinkets, honestly anything you can think of). They are all available for you to use and you have access to the barn for multiple days in order to decorate. Every single one of our guests RAVED, and i mean raved, about how much fun they had and how beautiful the venue as a whole was. Mary Anne was there the whole night (as well as her staff) to make sure the night went smoothly and I can say without a doubt that it was the best night of my life. I could not recommend Birch Hill Farm as a wedding venue enough.
