Birch Hill Farm, an elegant yet rustic farm wedding venue in Gilford, New Hampshire, is located on 30 acres of land with stunning views of the Belknap and Presidential mountain ranges. The venue offers a rustic post and beam barn that seats up to 150 guests and a 40X60 high pole tent with lighting that can seat up to 180 guests. There is also a rough timber bar and smoke shack. Because we believe your celebration should last longer than that afternoon you have access to the tent and barn 2 days prior to your wedding to decorate. We also open our home to you on your wedding day to gather prior to your ceremony which takes place on our front lawn with the mountains as your backdrop. We host just one wedding a week which allows us to focus on you and you alone. We are here to assist in table setting and decorations. We are also available to walk you through the ceremony the night before and run the day for you. While we are not wedding planners we are here to make sure your day runs seemlessly. We are open for tours Sunday through Friday at noon March through December. We'd love to show you the property!

Phenomenal Service on All Levels
Birch Hill Farm is set atop a hill in Gilford with scenic views of the surrounding mountains. We looked at Birch Hill late in October of 2019 for our daughter's wedding in July of 2020. Mary Anne not only showed us her beautiful property but walked us step by step through what the wedding day might look like for an outdoor wedding ceremony as well as one under a tent or in the lovely barn should it rain (6 years and 90 weddings - all have been outdoors - impressive!). Mary Anne is so very pleasant and friendly; she was an absolute joy to work with in the planning and execution of the wedding. We did not have a paid wedding planner, and with Mary Anne we didn't need one. She also helped by providing us suggestions and recommendations for other needed vendors (caterers, etc.) as well.Sent on 07/23/2020
In the unusual circumstances of COVID-19, we weren't sure if the July wedding was going to happen. During this whole uncertain period, Marry Anne was in frequent contact with us regarding Gov. Sununu's re-opening plans, CDC guidelines, and what steps she was taking to make the wedding party, attendees, and her staff safe at Birch Hill should weddings be allowed in time. With just 5 weeks advance notice that wedding receptions were again being allowed, Mary Anne helped make all uncertainties disappear. With Birch Hill, you not only get a beautiful venue but you get a staff of folks dedicated to make your day special. I highly recommend Birch Hill without any doubts or reservations.

Seamless wedding day!
We cannot say enough about this venue! It was exactly what we were looking for (rustic, private, and a beautiful background of mountains and trees). Mary Anne and Kim were so friendly and down to earth. They also have a whole basement under the barn filled with a variety of wedding decor that we were allowed to use! One of our guest told us that he had never felt more comfortable at a wedding in his whole life! Please visit this venue, and you will know what I'm talking about!

Best day ever
Our wedding was everything we could have imagined and more. From the beginning Mary Anne makes you feel like family and is always there via email, text or phone to answer any questions you might have (and believe me I had a bunch!) When we booked we didn’t have a date in mind but knew we wanted August. Mary Anne suggested 8/24/19 because it was Gilford Old Home day in town so there would be fireworks that night and the view is perfect. The fireworks were spectacular and since we didn’t tell a lot of people it was a nice surprise for everyone!
The venue is GORGEOUS. The ceremony area overlooking the mountains is breathtaking. The barn is beautiful without decorating but she even has an entire basement full of decor/jars/signs/etc to choose from so you really don’t even need to buy much. She let us visit a few times to figure out how we wanted to decorate, show my mom and sister, etc. Every time we went to visit there was something new. The second time we visited, she showed us the new awesome reclaimed wood tables, the third time it was the newly revamped bar and the new “curtain of lights” in the barn. She’s constantly adding and improving things and you can tell she loves what she does.
Being able to set up Thursday and a Friday was a huge plus (Mary Anne also spent Saturday setting up with her awesome helper Tara what we weren’t able to finish, which was a good amount! Did I mention she’s amazing?) Having the house to get ready in on the wedding day and use throughout the night was also amazing because the house is beautiful and spacious.
People are still telling me it was one of the funnest weddings they’ve been to and can’t get over how lovely the barn and property are. I could honestly go on and on but I highly recommend Mary Anne and Birch Hill Farm!!Sent on 09/03/2019
