We eloped in Costa Rica, alone with our three kids of 7, 14 and 19, and planned everything ahead of time from Canada. We chose Emilio based on his portfolio, artistic approach and communication skills. We could not be happier with both the pictures themselves but also with having him by our side for our very special day. He was approachable, kind, funny and so talented. He was both present when needed but also "disappeared" the rest of the time, behind his camera - catching everything from various angles, in a very discreet way. He met us in our San Carlos location (an AirBnB an hour from La Fortuna) the night before to get to know us and get a sense of what we wanted and what was important to us. He helped pick specific spots for a memorable "trash the dress" session in a nearby river. We trusted him completely to understand what we wanted and our style. After 48 hours, we received a very generous first round of pictures, which we were so happy to share with friends and family since we eloped abroad.
