Hi! I'm Riz, the calligrapher and artist behind Ellestrations, a Filipina-owned creative studio based in Fremont, CA, providing unique décor in the form of handcrafted signage. At Ellestrations, I specialize in crafting custom hand-lettered creations for life's most meaningful moments, everything from welcome signs and seating charts to escort cards and station signs. No matter if you're planning a wedding, a special event, or simply want to elevate your space with a personal touch, I'm here to help bring your vision to life.
My love for typography began in grade school, and over the years, that early fascination has evolved into a passion for handlettering and a commitment to the art of calligraphy. I find it incredibly rewarding to contribute to the joy of others through my work. Each project is a true collaboration as I take the time to understand your style and needs, and work closely with you until every detail is just right. I value integrity, clear communication, and craftsmanship, and I pour intention and care into every piece I create.

God Sent - Literally!
At literally my last convention, as I'm walking out in disappointment, Riz's table comes to my view.
I immediately loved her energy, the advice she was giving me and my fiance for our own wedding preparation (as we were DIYing quite a bit ourselves) and took a chance on a type of project she hadn't done before.
I was trying to find a local artist who wasn't going to break my bank but be able to make a stained glass look as well as draw our cats into our wedding.
Riz was able to make us signs after trial and error - also guiding us through the vision of our wedding plans.
I can't thank her enough for her work, dedication, risk taking and advice.
She was great to work with, straight forward with the invoice, willing to be patient as we made a decision of what material she was willing/able to work on as well as the timing of pick up/drop off for the signs.
