We are an all-inclusive officiant team that can perform handfasting, traditional, modern, and themed wedding ceremonies. We also do vow renewals, same-sex marriages, and premarital counseling. And you get a keepsake DVD (with up to 30 photos provided by you) for your memories.
With the option of custom vows personally written with you and your soul mate in mind.

Our Story: Brittany and Freeda
We met in September of 2011, and it truly was a matter of love at first sight. We went to lunch (which turned into a whole circus) and hung out together, the two of us and one of my best friends (now one of hers as well) and a whole entourage of people we picked up along the way. We had been talking on the phone for about two weeks and after that lunch we have been joined at the hip. Things progressed pretty smoothly and of course my kids were as smitten as I was.
We moved in together and lived quite happily and in 2015 we won the court case and we were finally able to get married! We have been together for 11 years, married 8 of that, we live in tiny little Adair America with out 6 giant lap dogs and our youngest son (20 years old).
We spend our time hanging out together and playing animal crossing. We love our time with our grandbabies just as much as our little adventures we take together. We renewed our vows this month, officiated by my younger sister, and it had us thinking about when we got married and how hard it was to find someone to officiate our wedding. We were married by a random officiant in Bass Pro parking lot, where we signed our marriage license with my parents as our witnesses. (We did have an amazing reception with some of our closest family and friends) While we were reminiscing about our wedding day we kind of had an epiphany... WE wanted to be the people that provide a real ceremony, no matter who you are marrying! Why not? My sister is ordained (also one of our team members, stay tuned for her story) why can't we? So Freeda, she is a notary. I went online and looked into how to officiate weddings. Became an ordained minister with AMM and ULC. And Edwards Weddings was born! We are just starting out, but we have big plans!
We are doing ceremonies that we travel to right now BUT, over the next few years we will be combining Edwards Weddings with a venue of our own (Mary Jo's Hitching Post) to bring you a one stop elopement opportunity where you can not only elope in style but also we will be offering an in-house photography studio with package options. So... stick around big things are coming!
