Great for a smaller venue ! Very helpful with planning and with vendors

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Edison Restaurant and it went perfectly. They have a great building that is in good shape and we were so happy with the communication they had in preparation for our event. They were also very accommodating with a few food sensitivities we had such as gluten free, vegetarian, and some kids meals. Andrea was very prompt and professional and easy to work with.

I highly recommend the team at Edison Restaurant & Event Center! Being that my wedding was destination, I communicated everything via email! Andrea was super responsive and incredibly helpful! She was able to help design my vision...at the last minute she was able to pull a few extra tables for the wedding so I could have a remembrance table and a table for the guestbook. Having celiac disease, the team was super helpful in letting me know what was and was not gluten free. One dish was gluten filled so they were sure to make a special dish for me right away. They even pulled me away and went through each dish to ensure what I could and could not eat. During the reception, the staff was incredibly helpful and super sweet!! We received such positive feedback from all of our guests about the venue and the staff and the food! Thank you so very much!

So Easy!

The Edison staff are incredible! We just had our wedding and reception at the location and things were smooth and easy. I know they were working incredibly hard behind the scenes so we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. I'm sure, behind the scenes, there were a few glitches and hiccups to take care of but we have NO idea they even existed. To us, the day was just perfect. We had our ceremony on the newly-renovated golf course and held the reception right afterwards in the Edison Room. The decor is simply unique to SWFL and one of the main reasons we chose to work with The Edison over one of the thousands of other club houses in the area.

I know for a fact that not only did Lori and I have an absolute blast, but all our guests enjoyed themselves as well.

We held an evening wedding there in Florida. We didn't plan for rain but we were able to move everything inside and still have a beautiful ceremony and reception. Shazmynn the event planner was the most helpful person on the planet when it came to planning everything.

Great food fun patio great services

I was a behind the scenes decorator for my cousins wedding at this venue. I can't praise the staff enough. They were extremely diligent in seeing to the weddings every need. They provided fantastic service with absolutely every aspect of it. The wedding planner they provided, Shazzy..was the most personable, professional, accommodating, and extremely good at her job. The place itself is filled with beautiful local decor, and the ambiance is incredible. The location is absolutely perfectly centralized in Lee County..allowing all the guest to be comfortable getting there. Every photo was picture perfect. The staff was superb. Very pleased all the way around.

We had our reception at the Edison and we had a fantastic time. We chose the Edison Room which we thought was the nicest room for a wedding reception. The decor is very fitting and casual without the stiff feeling of a banquet hall. We worked with Miguel, the banquet director, who made sure that everything ran smoothly for us all night. Our tables were set up right, they brought out our food in a timely manner, and Miguel even helped fiddle around with our PA system to get the sound right. They are very flexible with their decoration restrictions and they have a variety of options for anyone worried about their bar tab. There was a mixup with the open bar where some of our guests were mistakenly charged for their drinks earlier in the night, but it was quickly remedied. I had a lot of questions for Miguel regarding decorations, timing, and overall preparation. He is best reached by email and while he is sometimes slow in answering, he is always courteous and helpful. Overall we got exactly what we wanted and paid for and all of our guests enjoyed it. The ambiance, location, and food is all well worth it.

We had an amazing time at our wedding! They did such a great time in such short notice (we changed everything a week prior. Shame on us lol. ). I would recommend them to everyone.

4 stars for Quality of service
At the beginning it was touch and go since they were in the process of switching sales managers when I signed my contract. I did not like her one bit! She even spoke poorly of her boss! Imagine what she says about her clients. Finally, I was connected with the Owner/Manager who I originally signed contract with. Once I was reconnected with him, everything went smoothly. I used to be an event mgr myself, so I just told him what I needed and he got it for me. Bob was SO wonderful that he did make up for a lot of what happened with the Sales manager.
4.5 starts for Responsiveness
I deducted .5 of a star because the Sales mgr allowing 3 weeks to get back to my emails and every time she had some excuse or another. It would have been zero if Bob wasn't so great. I would be up late at night getting the planning done and have a question. I would receive responses just moments later at 3am!
4 stars for Professionalism
Bob was always very wonderful and knew how to handle this crazy bride. If it weren't for him making up for the lack of professionalism with sales there would be less.
4 Stars for Flexibility
Wedding day start time was 5pm on the course. We could not start until 5:30pm because the golf club (separate from the restaurant) allowed a group of 4 tee off at 5pm! Instead of asking them to start on hole 2 and explain there was a wedding, they allowed them to go and postponed the ceremony start time. With a 5:38pm sunset time, this was a problem. We lost the outside photos because of no sun, which was the point of having the ceremony on the greens. Pushing back the start time of the ceremony also pushed back the also made the reception time start later with open bar starting at 6pm and guests still not in there because we were finishing up the ceremony outside. It was not extend even though was not because of us.

Over all my guests had a BLAST and said it was the BEST WEDDING EVER! Really that is what you are there for!
