My husband has severe food allergies including all dairy and eggs, but really wanted a traditional wedding cake. Don's Bake Shop made this possible by making a beautiful vegan wedding cake for us. They were very attentive to detail and we had no problems with cross-contamination.

The cake was beautiful, a little different than what we expected but no big deal. It was very delicious.

The cake was hideous and arrived as I was walking down the isle, in fact he walked in front of me! I sent him a photo of the cake I wanted, very simple, and it was a disaster! The cake tasted good but looked like it was for a baby shower and had colors on it that I have no idea where he came up with, it was like he lost the picture and justed fudged something together, it was a disaster! The only thing bad about my wedding was the cake...everything else was perfect, thanks a lot Don!

Sorry to say, but the cake was a disaster. The colors were off, it wasn't even, I was just ashamed to show it! He's so nice, but his cakes just don't turn out like I'd wanted. It tasted amazing though, and that made up for it once it was cut, because no one could see how bad (sorry) it looked.

Ok, wedding colors are espresso, orange and blue and ceremony started at 11. We sent samples of invitations and sent ribbon swatches of the colors we were using and clipped a picture of the cake we wanted, a very simple modern cake that was three layer with smooth frosting and a few strips of fondant giving the look of a wrapped gift. The cake arrived late as we were doing the actual wedding ceremony out on the decks and the simple stripes that were to bring our wedding colors into the cake were for a unisex baby shower, baby blue and baby pink. We were lucky enough that my wife's family members and our event coordinator took over and covered it with flowers from some of our arrangements to mask the pink and make it match our wedding, not what we expected for nearly 500 dollars. The cake itself was delicious though but not a good effort on Don's part, i would hate to imagine what we would have seen had we chosen a more elaborate look for our cake!

The only reason he didn't get disaster on all accounts was due to the fact that the cake was delicious! However it was three hours late and looked nothing like the photo I sent and looked like a six year old did the decorating.
