Ronell was so responsive for our wedding day. He chatted with us before to ensure that all our favorite songs would be played. He made sure that as the DJ he said all names and titles correctly. As the night went on he really made our wedding a party. He is also just such a positive spirit and someone who you’d love to have at your wedding or event.

Right off the bat, DJ Ronday Voo was very responsive and attentive. My wife and I had a fairly long engagement (2 years) and we had booked Ronell pretty far in advance for our wedding, and he kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. My wife and I grew up outside of Louisiana and had met in New Orleans, so our appeal to Ronell was his ability to mix different genres to appeal to the wide variety of music tastes that our guests had, while showing everyone the incredible music that New Orleans has to offer. We had our video consultation with Ronell to go over our music choices and he was very attentive, calming, and respectful. It never felt like we were checking off boxes on a list…every question had an underlying sense of genuine curiosity and care about our story and how we wanted to portray our story to our guests through music. Leading up to the wedding, even the week-of, we had proposed changes to him and he showed his flexibility/willingness to adapt to our needs. He was the first vendor we saw setting up in the venue and was one of the last to leave. My wife and I spent 90% of our three-hour reception on the dance floor with our guests. We had an absolute BLAST! His work ethic is something to be admired and my wife and I will gladly recommend him to anyone who wants a uniquely-catered musical experience for their wedding.

Before the wedding, he made a real effort to get to know us and understand our vibe. Leading up to the day and throughout the event, he made us feel confident that everything would be handled.

During the ceremony, he stepped in and quickly helped resolve a mic issue so everything could continue smoothly. At the reception, he set the tone perfectly for every part of the night including cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and dancing.

Our ceremony and reception were at different locations, and sound was needed in multiple areas throughout the reception space. On top of that, some of our plans changed last minute because of weather, but Ronell adapted seamlessly and handled everything without missing a beat.

He was an amazing MC and DJ. He understood our taste while also reading the room and keeping the energy high. The dance floor was never empty and everyone was having the best time.
