About

I've been a professional DJ in San Diego for over 10 years and now live in Goodyear, AZ and serving the Phoenix, AZ area as well. I began as an On Air DJ on "The Valley's Q96" in Brawley, California back in December 1995. As a mobile DJ, I started around 2000 when Miles McPherson, former NFL football player with the San Diego Chargers & pastor of The Rock Church asked me to DJ for a big event at the Open Air Theatre in San Diego State University. Without any DJ equipment I took on the task by faith. Then, with one weeks notice, I was called to DJ Jeremy Camp's first wedding. I didn't really know the Christian artist Jeremy Camp back then but again with no DJ equipment...I accepted and borrowed DJ stuff. I felt that there was a calling in my life to DJ but in a positive light. It's always an honor to be hired as the DJ, especially in weddings.

Best DJ Around

I hired DJ Rey for my husbands birthday party and it was the best decision. He is easy to communicate with, very friendly and kept the party going all night. He did an amazing job of taking my, less than helpful, music recommendations and then felt the vibe of the night and kept people on the dance floor for hours. Everyone had the best time and were so glad we hired him. You won't regret it!

Best Wedding DJ!

He was super organized, accommodating and all around amazing! He read the room perfectly and got everyone out on the dance floor! The projector displaying pictures of my family and my lady’s family was an amazing touch that everybody loved! Would 1,000% recommend this DJ!!!!!

10/10 would recommend DJ Rey!

DJ Rey was great! He has multiple setups and is adaptive for different situations. He really kept the party going when it seemed like people were not feeling it at times. Also the wedding was unlike any other because it was a double wedding with twins marrying twins and he adjusted very well to the different ceremonies and different schedules. Would 10/10 recommend!

DJ Rey was great!

We loved having DJ Rey for our wedding! He was on time, super flexible, played the exact requests that the bride and I have given, and didn’t accept other requests. I will definitely refer DJ Rey to anyone else looking for a DJ!

Highly recommend

Rey is so chill and easy to work with but also thoroughly professional. He was an excellent MC who kept everything on track and was flexible when we had things go awry on our end. My wife and I had a lightsaber duel during the reception and he worked with us to help pull it off. Would highly recommend!

Set the tone for our wedding reception

Oh my goodness, Ray is the absolute best DJ I have ever worked with. He played every song on our preselected list, took requests, and then filled the rest of the night with the mix of genres we chose and ROCKED the night. The only reason we had people not dancing was because there wasn’t any extra room in the dance floor. Such a personable, kind and funny guy as well. You will definitely have an amazing time with Ray.

Amazing, cant go wrong!

DJ Rey is kind, responsive, family oriented, caring, responsive, trustworthy and has excellent attention to detail. We cannot thank him enough for making our wedding amazing. We had an excellent time and it was so much better with him on the microphone! Highly recommend. Cannot give enough stars!!!

Great bilingual DJ and MC

DJ Rey did a fantastic job executing the mood we wanted for our wedding reception. We needed someone who was bilingual and he did an excellent job playing a mix of English and Spanish songs as well as translating when needed for the announcements. He worked with us to play all the songs we wanted and then organized a playlist for us that included songs that were similar. He coordinated with the photographer and the people involved in the event to make sure everything ran smoothly. He was always available if we had any questions or adjustments to make. I would definitely recommend him for your event, it will give you great peace of mind to know he’ll help you have the party or event you want!

Wonderful DJ

The last thing I had to stress about was the DJ. DJ Rey was absolutely fantastic he was professional and helpful during the entire time. If we have another large event I know that he will be my first DJ to call! Thanks Rey for everything!

DJ Rey was Fabulous....Upbeat, Fun, always Smiling & gets the Guest participating. He also got out on the Dance Floor & led certain dances! He was Awesome & everybody Loved him. I would definitely use him again & would Highy Recommend him! ❤❤❤
