WOW!! If you only read the first sentence of this review.. you NEED to hire DJ Mixed Kid!!

I was introduced to Kelvin after booking my photographer for my wedding and asking for DJ recommendations. After scrolling his instagram for about 30 seconds I knew he was the one! I decided to go rogue with my wedding structure and flip the script on the traditional time line and Kelvin was down for the challenge from the beginning.

Your DJ acts as your EMCEE throughout the evening and is crucial to how the event flows to the guests, and I never doubted for a second that he would be on top of it all night -- and he was! But where he really got to shine was obviously during the reception. We had at least 75% of our guests on the dance floor until the very last song. I had guests texting me asking for the set list the week after, and too many to count tell me that it was the BEST DJ set for a reception they had ever heard.

He took all of my do not plays and must plays and created an incredible vibe that was fit for every age demographic at our wedding. He truly made our wedding what it was, and for that I can't thank him enough! I hope to be able to work with him again in the future. Thanks, DJ Mixed Kid :)

We had a very small and unique wedding venue with not a lot of options for vendors. The venue recommended DJ Mixed Kid to us and we couldn't have been any happier. The collaborative app he has made it so easy to plan and Kelvin was great at sharing ideas/understanding what our vision was. The dance floor was so much fun all night long. Couldn't have asked for a better night and DJ!

Kelvin was incredible to work with from day one. He was always available to hop on a call discuss the overall vibe and closer to our wedding, again for all the tiny details. Day of Kelvin showed up big for us! He was great at hyping the crowd, reading the room and of course keeping the dance floor full and exciting. I cannot recommend Kelvin highly enough. He was SO professional, incredibly easy to work with and insanely organized. He made the process so easy and fun, and made suggestions that made our night absolutely perfect. He was so flexible with us, and set the perfect vibe for the wedding. Book him, you absolutely wont regret it. We to this day are getting compliments about our amazing DJ at the wedding.

I can't say enough amazing things about DJ MixedKid! Kelvin truly made our wedding an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, he was such a pleasure to work with—professional, easygoing, and incredibly responsive. He took the time to have a call with us beforehand to go over our vision for the night and made sure everything was perfectly tailored to our tastes and then had 2 more follow up calls the week before and week of the wedding to go through the details to make sure everything would be perfect and transition smoothly between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

On the big day, Kelvin brought the energy and kept the dance floor packed all night long! He really knows how to read the crowd and play the right songs at just the right time. Every moment—from our grand entrance to the last song of the night—was perfectly timed, and the vibe was EXACTLY what we hoped for. Our guests are still talking about how great the music was!

Not only was he a total pro with the music, but his attire was on point too—he looked incredibly sharp and polished, which was important to us given how formal our wedding was. He really added to the overall elegance and atmosphere of the day. There is not enough wonderful things I can say about DJ Mixed Kid! From start to finish he was absolutely amazing! From the extremely user friendly app he provides to make planning the special day so easy. To the professionalism and energy he delivered on our big day. We loved everything about him. And the music....he is not your press play DJ. He got everyone on the dance floor, having a good time. Some people never left the dance floor. I got so many compliments on DJ Mixedkid and how everyone loved him. People were asking me for his contact info at the end of the night. We would 1000% hire him for our next event. We might just throw a party....just to have him back!
