DJ Double C

We booked DJ Double C (Conner) in the fall of 2025 for our July 11, 2026 wedding and paid our deposit in full. After multiple planning meetings over several months, he completely ghosted us just two weeks before our wedding date—leaving us scrambling to find a replacement on short notice in the middle of peak wedding season. We have requested our deposit back and have received zero response.
Looking back, there were red flags early on. He rescheduled our initial consultation twice—first because he simply forgot, and a second time citing a family medical emergency. We tried to be compassionate and understanding at the time, but now it fits a clear pattern.
Its hilarious to me that he responded to a previous negative review from another couple claiming that failing to show up was a "singular event." Yet, just a few weeks later, he did the exact same thing to us.
While I can appreciate that personal or mental health challenges happen, taking people’s money and abandoning couples right before their wedding is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Keeping the deposit under these circumstances is unacceptable. Do not risk your big day with this DJ.

Unfortunately we are left with no choice but to leave this review. DJ Double C (conner crowder) was contracted by me to cover a wedding as the DJ. He signed a contract with us, spoke with the bride and then on the day of the wedding, two hours before the ceremony, texted the bride a cold text that he will not be coming to the wedding due to mental health issues and that she can contact me for a refund. 2 hours before. She had no DJ for her wedding. Then after the wedding, he refused to abide by the damages clause in the contract he signed, and refused to make any reimbursements for money lost. While we are actively seeking collections and other remedies, I think it's important that people know he is not reliable and should be avoided. I found him via the knot/weddingwire
