Most of my couples are drag queens, hippies, activists and club kids. They don't want a Macarena DJ in a cheesy tux. Sure, I'll play a few songs to keep grandma happy, but once she leaves the night is ours.

If you're looking for a boring, I mean traditional, DJ The Knot has plenty to choose from. Their galleries have pictures of pretty bouquets and folks dancing the Cha Cha Slide, but is that what you really want? Someone who stuffs you in a box and makes your wedding sound like everyone else's?

I'd rather get to know you. Learn what makes you and your partner unique. Play the music that celebrates your love, whatever it may be. I want you and your guests to enjoy yourselves on your terms, not mine.

Forget how weddings are "supposed" to sound. Don't worry about "The top 50 songs guaranteed to rock a dance floor." None of that stuff is important. You are!

But if you really need the cheesy tux, I'm sure there's one buried in my closet.

Hire again and again

DJ Danniboi was great! He knows exactly what songs to play. I gave him an inspo playlist of songs I like and what kind of vibe I was going for and he was able to take that and run with it. I hired him for a birthday party I had a few years ago and hired him again for my wedding. Super easy to communicate with too. Would definitely recommend.

Hire him our wedding loved him!

Danni is an amazing dj! He has a great voice and really great with logistics of events. We hired him for our wedding and he read the room so well played great music and so trustworthy with any important event. Everyone at our wedding loved him.
