We were lucky that we booked our trolley for our wedding before they decided to stop doing weddings due to their religious beliefs. They honored our contract and grandfathered us in. It is too bad they stopped doing weddings because it was a great experience. The driver was polite, chivalrous, and played adorable wedding music as we made our way to the chapel. The trolley was decorated with festive wedding attire. I'm glad we were able to use them before they left the wedding business.

The trolleys from Discover Annapolis Tours were adorable! The inside was decorated so nice and the signs on the side of "going to the chapel" and "just married" were too cute! Matt was always wonderful to work with planning the transportation and the drivers were great! They were on time and accommodated all my guests even doing more then was expected! Joe was so much fun! I would recommend any bride to be needing transportation to use their trolleys!

Annapolis Trolley provided the transportation for our wedding on July 28th. They shuttled the bridal party to and from the church, as well as guests to and from the reception. Everyone was so nice to work with. The inside of the trolley was decorated so nicely that it was a great place to take pictures! The "Going to the Chapel" and "Just Married" signs were a lot of fun as well! The trolley was on time for everything, and a great touch for our wedding. Our guests loved it, as it gave our wedding a true Annapolis touch! We recommend them to anyone that needs wedding transportation!

We used the Trolley for transportation for our guests to and from the hotel and the church for a Winter wedding - trolleys are heated so they work in the winter too. We also used the trolley to transport the wedding party to and from the church. The trolley was great because it was different but also they were easy to work with. The drivers were knowledgeable about Annapolis too, which was great for our out of town guests.

Due to the limited parking in Annapolis my husband and I decided to hire the trolley service instead of renting a limo. We hired 2 trolleys to transport guests from the church to the reception and back again. We also had our bridal party transported from the church to the recpetion as well since we wanted them to be able to bring their dates along for the ride. The trolley was a great investment! All our guests loved the idea of having a trolley and not having to pay for parking! The best thing about hiring the trolley was that, unlike a limo service, you don't have to pay for the time that the driver is waiting at the church. Booking was a breeze and we would highly recommend this option to anyone having a wedding in a downtown area with limited parking options.

Discover Annapolis Tours provided transportation for my wedding party to and from the Church for my wedding. They were wonderful in setting everything up (especially since I changed the pick-up and drop-off times on several occasions) and they arrived on time. The only issue I had was trying to get the driver to put music on for the drive to the Church - either he did not hear me ask or did not know how to do it. It worked out OK though because one of the guys figured out how to do it for the drive to the reception. All in all this was a great vendor, and I would definitely recommend them to other brides!

Update: Although I will not change my comments above regarding my own personal experience with Discover Annapolis Tours, I have been very disappointed by recent reports that they have decided to shut down their wedding transport services in order to avoid providing these services to same-sex couples. I find this to be discriminatory behavior and cannot in good conscience encourage people to support a business that does not support equality.

By far the most professional vendor we dealt with. Matt scheduled everything perfectly. They get such a great rating because even though the driver was late they made everything right. The driver was extremely apologetic but went on with everything professionally and credited us for the small amount of time they were delayed. The driver allowed our ring bearer children to ring the trolley bell and kept everyone that was waiting for us warm and entertained while we were being photographed. GREAT JOB Matt and crew!

We accidentally planned our wedding on the day of Navy Homecoming, which posed some hotel and transportation problems. Because of this, we decided to book trolleys to get our guests from their hotel outside of downtown to the ceremony, then from the ceremony to the reception (which was walking distance, but not for everyone), and then at the end of the reception to shuttle people back to their hotels. The trolley service got everyone where they needed to be. I was a little annoyed that our Oct 30th wedding didn't qualify for the "off-season" rates, which begin Nov 1, and the cost was apparently non-negotiable (though we did get a discount for booking two trolleys). Seems Discover Annapolis knows they have the only gig in town, so don't need to bargain with clients.

My only complaint was that our driver wanted to cut out at 11:30ish, assuming the guests were all gone, though we had paid to 12. Because we'd told guests that the trolleys would be around until a certain time, I wasn't comfortable with him leaving any earlier than the said time. That said, when I voiced my objection, he stuck around until 12.

Overall, a really cool service for downtown Annapolis, and not difficult to work with, albeit a bit expensive. They were willing to be flexible with day-of plans (depending on weather), which made life a whole lot easier for the bride, groom and bridal party.

Addendum, two years post-wedding: I originally rated this vendor as I would any other vendor, and to be fair, left my original comments above. In recent weeks, Discover Annapolis Tours has decided to no longer provide wedding services because they are a "Christian-owned company" and cannot support gay marriage. I cannot support businesses that do not support equality; I've already paid my money, but I cannot continue to stand by my initial review.
