Kate's partner purchased Dirty Pants Ranch in 1999 after falling in love with Jackson Hole and specifically the hidden gem of the Hoback Canyon. The ranch encompasses 250 acres with the vast majority of it placed in a conservation easement, meaning the land can never be developed more than it currently is.
