Engagement photos were beautiful! She was fun to work with!! Can't wait to see our wedding photos. :)

No one out there takes as beautiful of pictures as Denise does! I have many friends who are envious of my wedding and engagement pictures. She is a fantastic photographer; very sweet and fun to be around and works hard at what she does. Everyone should have Denise be their photographer!

Very hard to get a hold of her and did not deliver what she promised.

At first she was just disorganized and forgetful. But now I can't even reach her at this point. It's been 1.5 years after my wedding, and the service that I paid for is still incomplete. In person she was incredibly nice, and she's an amazing photographer.
If I could go back, I would not use her. It's not worth the headache.

Denise Bovee was the amongst one of the first few wedding vendors that I contacted. We've exchanged many emails and phone calls and even chatted on Skype prior to my wedding in order to get to know her more. She was very responsive with our communication. I finally decided to book her and immediately sent her a deposit. She deposited the check very quickly. However, everything just went downhill from there.

She had previously promised to send me a copy of the contract which I never received. I tried emailing and calling many times over the course of 3 months and frankly she never wrote/called back. I figured my only option was to request for a refund which she finally agreed on. (That's after I informed her that I would take this matter to court if she didn't respond)

Since she wasn't our wedding photographer, I can't comment on the quality of service. But I can only give her half a star for her responsiveness and professionalism.

Don't get me wrong, she does take amazing pictures based on what she has posted on her blog. However I'm glad that we didn't go with her as our photographer. Like the other reviewer mentioned, it's definitely not worth the headache.
