Delaina is an AMAZING photographer! She shot our (surprise) engagement photos in New Orleans City Park. We were so impressed at her eye for certain shots, how comfortable she made us feel, and listened to us if we wanted to try certain shots or backgrounds. At one point she was lying on the ground just to get the perfect shot of the ring! I find new favorites every time I look through our portfolio (which was one of the fastest turn around times ever)! We booked her for our wedding and I couldn't be happier to have her capture more memories for us! Our wedding is a year a way and she has been responsive to all my emails and messages since day one. She's the best!

Delaina Marie is such a talented photographer. Even though she was not familiar with the area (she flew out to Reno for our wedding), she could read the landscape and was able to position us in the most gorgeous spots and in the most flattering ways. She was able to capture the excitement and love that filled the day, as well as the beauty of the landscape. She was quick, yet thorough and dedicated to getting beautiful shots. We have so many favorites we cannot choice just one! I HIGHLY recommend Delaina Marie Photography for your wedding day! We will treasure the images she created for the rest of our lives.

I had an extremely disheartening and insulting experience while trying to book a session with this photographer. I hardly ever write reviews, but this was my first experience trying to book a session with a professional photographer and it has upset me to the point of tears. I originally messaged her back in October to ask her if she’d be able to take some photos of me and my sick dog on the beach. She responded and said of course and that she’d send me her availability dates. She never did. So I followed up in December, and she said she’d send me her availability the next day. She never did. So I followed up a whole month later, in January, just for her to respond to me with a lengthy message explaining that she is busy and simply can’t be bothered on the weekends, like I was supposed to know her schedule. I’m active duty and I work night shift in a hospital, which I told her is the reason why I wasn’t always able to message her at the best times. She still ignored me and never sent me dates after telling me she would more than once.

Long story short, this woman was extremely rude and most definitely unprofessional. She told me she’d send me her availability dates multiple times with no follow up. I never received a single date from her. My first experience hiring a professional photographer is completely ruined. I waited months to book a session with her, just to be told that I “wasn’t a good fit” after simply following up with her for the third time when I didn’t receive any dates. She somehow insulted me and made me feel like I was doing something wrong by following up with her.

She then made a post about me on her private Facebook page calling me crazy and calling my review inaccurate. The truth is that my review IS accurate because it’s about the fact that she failed to send me her availability after telling me she would multiple times.

Savanna, in Jan after waiting A MONTH to hear back about availability simply asked Delaina if it was possible to still work with her and figure out dates. Super sweet and simple! Delaina blew the situation out of proportion and explained she has family and a life that’s more important (understandable!) and that’s why she hasn’t answered. (Yet- it’s been an entire month...?) Delaina then said “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me would know” ... Savanna is a new client, she wouldn’t know.

She then proceeded to flat out recommend other Photographers because she said she no longer was willing to work with Savanna. For what?!

Delaina could have simply apologized for being a month late, given dates, and booked- a happy ending for both parties!

And that’s not it- Savanna came to write her review on Facebook and instead of Delaina taking responsibility and fixing things, she BLOCKED Savanna and hid reviews to the public.

She then proceeded to go on her PERSONAL social media and say Savanna is OUT OF HER MIND and saying the reviews untrue.

We are beyond shocked and disappointed with the lack of customer service and empathy here. Would not recommend.
