I am Deborah Painter and I've been in the wedding photography field for many years. First, working with film and processing, then moving into the digital realm. Wedding photography is an exciting career field and choosing a wedding photographer-an important one. Whoever your choose for that special honor, be sure they are someone you are comfortable with and feel that you can communicate your wishes and desires to. After all, the memories you have of your special day are in the hands of this one person. Choose carefully! I am more than just a photographer, I am an artist also. I dabble in acrylic painting and pencil drawing. To be a good artist, you must have an understanding of not only composition but lighting. Whether indoors or outside, lighting plays an upmost important role in a pleasing photograph-or a painting. Because of my background in art, I bring another dimension to photography. I add black and white and sepia versions of photographs. I can make a photograph look as if were done in watercolors. All of this adds to the mood and romance of the wedding day. Each and every wedding I photograph is unique. I am always looking for new and creative ways to capture those priceless moments. I want you to look at your wedding photographs in five, ten or fifteen years, and still be breathtaken by the images.
