Dana is one of the most talented, creative, and kindest photographers based in the Lexington area. We recently got our wedding photos back and they are stunning. Not because everyone looks "perfect" but because they capture who we are and the happiness of our wedding day. The formal group shots are great but what I really loved are the candid shots of us laughing, hugging, interacting with each other. And the shots of my husband and I are astonishing. They are so unique and beautiful from an artistic/aesthetic sense. I actually want to display these photos in our home! We just shared some on social medial and have gotten a lot of "I normally don't like or care about wedding photos, but these are incredible" comments. My husband and I are not the most comfortable getting pictures taken, and Dana made us feel confident and at ease. She was willing to work with us in the moment with what felt right and what didn't. She's very kind and open and fun! It quickly felt like we had known her for a long time and joking around and telling stories. I also really appreciated her body positivity approach-- it was incredibly refreshing especially since weddings have a lot of not-great societal norms/pressures wrapped up in them. I strongly encourage you to consider working with her!

I wish every wedding we coordinated had professionals as amazing as Dana. She's one of those people that becomes instant friends with everyone she encounters, while still maintaining professionalism and a unique style. When I look back on my wedding day, there is a special moment that will always burn bright in my memory. It was after our ceremony and after the family photos. We were standing near the street as the sun went down. The streetlight turned on and my husband went in for a kiss. Dana wrapped him in my veil to create this cozy intimate moment. Although we were surrounded by people, it was only him and I, alone for the first time as husband and wife.
