We were fans of D Bar restaurant and were looking for a baker for our Telluride destination wedding. We were put in touch with Molly and she gave us ideas as far as what type of cakes we could transport the 7 hour drive. When we arrived to pick up the cakes they were gorgeous and packed to handle the long journey. They finally made their debut to our guests with a huge fanfare as they turned out beautiful and scrumptious. Thank you team D Bar!

We had the most beautiful and DELICIOUS wedding cake from D Bar! A friend made our cupcakes, but we had D Bar make a cake for us to cut into. They have the best chocolate cake in the world and I knew we had to have it for our wedding cake. It was not only perfectly delicious as always, it was a beautiful cake shaped like a mountain and had a fondant figurine of our beautiful dog, Izabel. What a special cake!

Our wedding cake was moist, delicious and beautiful to admire. We chose part Red Velvet and part white cake with strawberries in the whip cream filling. Every bite was awesome. A week later we have the top part and it was still fantastic. Love you chef Keegan. Thank you!!

YUM! My cake was so delicious that I can't wait until our first anniversary to eat the top. Or, even better, I will go get a small cake from them to enjoy on our own one of these weekends! Also, the cake was beautiful. They completely nailed it.

Initially I met with Lisa Girard at D-Bar for a cake tasting which was fantastic. No comparison to the other bakeries I checked out. There was so much to choose from and all the flavors & fillings were wonderful. It was difficult to make a choice.

I also worked closely with Michelle, Asst., who worked with me tirelessly to refine the design until I was completely happy. Customer service & communication were excellent throughout the planning process.

The wedding cake at our venue on the day was just perfect with the decor of the venue; style of the wedding & also tasted great....We loved it and so did all our guests.

DBar is by far the most amazing dessert bar in town! Chef Keegen and his wife Lisa were so wonderful to us and made us the most delicious cake I've ever had in my life (sorry mom). They bring you several types of cake and then allow you to add various frostings, jams, candies etc to create your own amazing cake! We chose a white cake with a half custard half whipped cream icing with carmelized apples inside of it. It was finished with a spray of grand marnier liquor and covered in fondent. If you want a stunning cake that also tastes just as amazing, go with Dbar!

We can't say enough about Lisa Bailey and her restaurant, D-Bar! My wife and I were married July 2014 and had been working on a very limited budget for all aspects of the wedding and reception. We approached a half-dozen bakeries with what we wanted and how much we could afford. Lisa was the only person to take up the challenge and design a cake that was classy, delicious and also within our price range. In the end, we had an amazing Aspen-inspired tree cake that worked perfectly with our mountain/outdoor theme, and it was DELICIOUS!
In addition to being an outstanding chef, Lisa is the consummate businesswoman and professional. We had to plan our Denver wedding from 2,000 miles away after recently moving to New England, and she was great about working with us by phone, fax and email. She made all the paperwork and communication easy and worked at our pace to finalize all the details. Every phone call was pleasant and we never felt pressured or rushed. Lisa even arranged a special cake tasting for my wife and her father to try ALL the flavors in order to pick out exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend D-Bar Desserts for any occasion!! D Bar did a fantastic job on our cake, I've still gotten compliments on it weeks after our wedding! It was beautiful and delicious, can't wait for our 1-year anniversary to enjoy the top!

D Bar did a wonderful job on our wedding cake, it tasted great and looked beautiful. The price was very reasonable for the quality that you get. The only complaints are that the cake was not at our recption site prior to it starting, in fact my husband had to call them on our ride from the ceremony to the reception to see if it was coming. The other issue was there were a few smudges in the icing and our momogram slipped off the front of the cake after the reception got going. Otherwise they were wonderful to work with. Lisa is very professional and help make our vision a reality. We'll surely be going back to D Bar!
