Unique Vintage Wedding Venue & Bridal cottage in Cajun Prairie Country. The venue is a Historic General Store built in 1886, it was the site of one of the last attempted robberies of Bonnie & Clyde in 1934. It was moved to this location in the 1990s. Our venue is unique in that we allow you to bring in your own caterer and alcohol at no charge. We also have preferred caterers if you need. We have onsite lodging as well as a Bridal Cottage. Your rental includes being allowed to come in on the day before the wedding (Fridays) at 8 am and setup all day. The day of the wedding, you also have it the entire day. We even allow you to come back on the sunday morning to do a load out, so in essence, you have the venue for 3 days of access ! The property is on over 5 acres of beautiful lush greenery, cypress trees, pines, bamboo grove, open country feel as well as wooded areas.
