Cville Hop On Tours is the area's most affordable and highest rated transportation company. With over 10 years of experience, we now offer a wide variety of options aboard our fleet.

Guest Activities

We currently have 10 Hop On Buses with the capacity for up to 14 passengers per bus. Perfect for showing your friends the best in the area, our Hop On Tours offer a variety of beer, wine, cider, and spirit options while your guests select their own itinerary. Seats are sold individually with no pressure from others on the bus as to where you'd like to visit. The day is yours, let us take you there.

Wedding Party Activities

In addition to our public tours, we offer private transportation and customizable itineraries aboard on of our 14, 18, 22, or 28 passenger buses. Perfect for the wedding day lunch at a winery or the rehearsal dinner, our stylish and affordable passenger buses will safely and knowledgeably get your group to it’s destinations

Wedding Transportation-

If you’re looking for affordable and reputable wedding transportation, we offer multiple schoolies with seating for up to 46 and include heating and air conditioning. Working with dozens of wedding planners across Central Virginia, we can assist with transportation and logistics for any size of wedding.

Amazing For Wedding Weekend Event

We rented 2 of the large 46 passenger school buses for a wedding weekend event for our wedding guests. We had a complicated itinerary with several pick up and drop off spots as well as 3 destinations in the middle. The HopOn drivers were extremely prompt and exactly where they needed to be. We weren’t expecting it on school buses, but were pleasantly surprised that the buses were air conditioned and that the drivers had coolers with water for everyone to beat the heat!

It was such a fun event to show our guests around the area and we received so many rave reviews from them! We went to Veritas Vineyards, Devil’s Backbone Basecamp, and King Family Vineyards which were all easily able to accommodate large groups. Would definitely recommend using HopOn Cville for large events like ours or for smaller groups as well!

Perfect for wedding shuttle!

Came through for us last-minute

We were booking transportation relatively last-minute for our wedding and Hop On Cville came through with two renovated school buses for our guests, ferrying them from hotel to ceremony, ceremony to reception, and reception to hotel at a reasonable rate. It was a fun experience all around and they were able to work with us on all logistics to make it seamless!

Easy and inexpensive transportation

We booked a school bus for our wedding day and separately a private brew bus tour the next day. HopOn was so much cheaper and could carry so many more people than the other transportation options our wedding planner suggested. The drivers were so kind and skilled at travelling down single-lane, windy back roads in the hills of Virginia! I was very impressed. I highly recommend.

Great wedding shuttle!

We used Hop On to help get our guests to and from our wedding in Nelson County. We had ~100 people staying in local rentals within 10 miles of our venue and I was nervous about our guests driving home after our reception on windy back roads in the dark. Hop On picked up our guests at their rentals and dropped them back off at the end of the night. They were very easy to communicate with and they even drove our routes a few days before and sent me detailed notes and pictures about pick up points for our guests. One thing that I really liked about them was that they were a rental by hour rather than by stop. Some other transportation companies charged by the stop which could have been really expensive with our specific transportation needs.

Smooth ride ahead

We had heard of Cville hop on tours for brewery and winery tours, but we had no idea they provided transportation for other events! We booked them to provide transportation to and from our wedding venue and they were awesome. Very flexible to work with, early to all pick up times, and provided a smooth ride through some windy Charlottesville roads. They have a ton of availability for whatever your needs may be and are great to work with! We highly recommend them for your group transportation needs!

All the guests got to the wedding

I used this company to rent a 48 passenger bus for my wedding in May 2025 and at the end of the day, the services I paid for were provided as outlined in my contract. That being said, the communication was all through a third party website that was very confusing to use. However, they were very flexible on agreeing to the bus making several runs to/from the hotel and venue, and the times that they were to occur. On the day of the wedding, there was some sort of mix up and the bus did not show up on time. It was ~30 minutes to ceremony time and all the guests were just waiting in the lobby. Luckily my wedding planner was able to get a hold of Sharon and they were able to redirect other buses to the hotel. Luckily the venue was less than 10 minutes away so guests showed up to the venue on time. Although it definitely caused some unneeded stress, they eventually got everyone where they needed to be.
