My daughter and her H2B chose The Cake Shoppe in Byram after tasting at another well know bakery. At the Cake Shoppe they were given full slices of cake to try with a large variety of icings in cupcake wrappers so they could mix and match. This was much better than the previous experience when we got to try two flavors cake baked into mini muffins with a small dollop of icing on top. We finally had to do a process of elimination to get down to our top 3 flavors. They also did the Groom's cake with original artwork from the Groom. It was all very delicious and beautiful. They incorporated the Bride and Groom's eclectic ideas. There were no simple roses for this bride and groom. Think Celtic knots, Crosses and Dragons instead. The Groom has a Web Comic called AntiBunny.com. For his RPG Avetar he is a Rabbit and my daughter is a Fox. This resulted in the design on the wedding invitation that was colorized for their groom's cake. I will try to post the pictures.

My cakes looked perfect, and they tasted great. They were very easy to work with and are an excellent value for the price.

Cups N Cakes is AMAZING! They are very fairly priced, and their food is absolutely delicious! They made our wedding cake, cheesecakes, and chocolate covered strawberries. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I was really excited about my first visit to the bakery. Very friendly staff and hands on experience with Hailey.
The only downfall I believe is in communication. You are told you can pay in multiple ways but the best method to ensure payment is in the store. Also, email follow-up takes some time and I know a business has multiple customers but for someone who has paid a deposit it would be nice to know your email was received and not have to call to ensure all materials that you paid for had been received.
