I knew Corey Garland was the photographer for us when I was flipping through an album of flower photos with my florist. As we went through the album, my eyes would lock on particular photos - each one happened to be taken by Corey! We loved working with Corey. He's an easy guy to like, for sure. He gets to know you with his complementary engagement shoot (a nice bonus!), preparing you to be completely comfortable with him on your wedding day. On the day, Corey was professional yet fun all wrapped into one. I received many compliments from friends and family about how much they enjoyed his company. He followed me everywhere but I never felt like I was being trailed by someone. =) His shots were creative and different and really made the colors of my wedding pop. I am especially impressed with how well his indoor shots came out. You can tell a lot about a photographer's talent from how well they can photograph the inside of a building at night! If you're looking for photos that are classy with a little spin on the traditional with a lot of color pop, Corey's your guy. He's also an incredible value and provides a disc of ALL your photos for you to print at any time. We're very pleased! Thanks, Corey!

I waited awhile to write this review after I reviewed the other vendors because I've been trying to work out some of the problems I had with hiring Corey. Wish I could recommend him. He is friendly, charges about mid range pricing, responsive to questions prior to the event, and does have some great photos on his site. Unfortunately, a few of our photos are great, some photos are good, and some are not good at all - which ends up being very disappointing for the day of your wedding. Overexposed, lots of legs cut off in the photos, no adjustment in real time (like telling my bridesmaid she had her flower bouquet in front of her face - we had no idea until we got the photos back). Our contract specifically stated in addition to a website link there would be a flash drive with pictures. I have contacted him twice and still no flash drive, and no response at all to our complaints. I'm editing all our photos on my computer to adjust them. I would look elsewhere - for the one day of your life, it's not worth being disappointed.

He did not get key photos of the bride and groom (ie. photo of the bride and groom together by themselves during reception). I would not recommend this photographer to anyone for anything. He charged $2000 for a disappointing service. Corey's assistant was a better photographer.
