The Historic Wine Library is ideal for cocktail receptions and private gatherings, featuring ambient lighting and more than 3,000 bottles of Concannon wines. The newly introduced Bubbles Lounge offers a relaxed and stylish setting with natural light, soft lounge seating, and access to an open-air patio overlooking the estate vineyards — perfect for rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, or intimate celebrations.

For larger events, the Vineyard Ballroom provides a beautifully restored and versatile setting with modern finishes and vineyard views, accommodating both grand celebrations and more intimate receptions. The newly renovated Barrel Room delivers a dramatic wine country atmosphere with warm wood textures, glowing chandeliers, rows of oak barrels, and two stunning 70-year-old French casks that create a truly unforgettable backdrop for dinner and dancing.

Outdoors, couples can exchange vows beneath the beloved Grape Arbor, a vine-covered pathway that has hosted celebrations for more than four decades. The expansive Main Lawn & Pavilion offers sweeping vineyard views, lush landscaping, and plenty of space for unforgettable receptions under the stars. The historic Ellen Rowe Concannon Victorian House, built in 1885, adds another elegant backdrop filled with timeless charm and wine country character.

A Rich California Wine Legacy

Founded by Irish immigrant James Concannon in 1883, Concannon Vineyard helped pioneer California’s Bordeaux-style winemaking tradition after importing vine cuttings directly from France’s most celebrated vineyards, including Château Margaux and Château d’Yquem. The winery became internationally recognized after Livermore Valley wines earned Gold Medals at the 1889 International Paris Exposition — the first American wine region to receive such honors.

Today, Concannon remains one of California’s most historic wineries and continues to blend legacy with modern hospitality, offering couples a wedding destination rooted in history, beauty, and genuine connection.
