About

Classical Chris is a wedding musician based in Baltimore, Maryland. I am a classically-trained guitarist with a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Towson University. I have performed over 200 weddings of all kinds and sizes since 2002; all to rave reviews! I am extremely confident in my ability to make your wedding extra special!

Services Offered

With my training, I am able to learn and perform any style of music for your ceremony and cocktail hour. This means that whatever special music you want for your wedding, I can accommodate you! I have performed everything from classical pieces by the likes of J.S. Bach to contemporary setlists featuring music by Coldplay and more for ceremonies. Professional, easy going, and flexible

Chris is an amazing person to work with. When my husband and I decided on a small ceremony for our wedding, we asked Chris to provide the music. He was able to play the song I loved when I walked down the aisle and curate other similar instrumental songs for the rest of the event! He’s incredibly responsive and easy-going, and it made me extremely happy that he was a part of the day. He has also played ceremony music for my mom’s and sister’s weddings— so clearly we are big fans! If you work with him, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic!

Chris is the best! He has been a part of three family weddings for us in recent years. He is so easy to work with and such a pleasure to be around. His music added such a nice touch to all of the ceremonies. We can’t wait to use him again!

Chris was punctual, professional, reasonably priced, and sounded great! He's an excellent musician! I would encourage any couple looking for a guitar player to give Chris a call!

Wedding Music

Chris was fantastic for our wedding. He met with us early and often to help decide on the best music for our wedding. He was able to play all the selections we desired and made our wedding extra special for that reason. He arrived well in advance of the ceremony to make sure there were no issues with set up or sound. Everyone greatly enjoyed listening to him play the classical guitar for our ceremony. Highly recommend!

Great musician - highly recommend

Chris is a great musician and plays classical guitar very well, his playing really brightens the room and it sounded great at our wedding. My wife and I are thankful that he played for us, he was professional and catered well to our song requests. I’ve seen him play several other gigs, too, and was impressed each time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a musician for their wedding!

Chris Maggitti is a professionally trained classical guitarist who is extremely talented and a wonderful guitar player. He did a fabulous job playing for our ceremony and we were so impressed with his guitar skills. He has great suggestions for possible songs to play and will also learn new songs if there is a specific request you have. He is very easy to work with and has an awesome personality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
