Chimes and Occasions, based out of Memphis, Tennessee, is a historical wedding event venue located in the heart of Midtown, just south of Overton Square. With a charming, unique, intimate, and vintage event space, this venue was built in 1998 to have the look of an old French chapel complete with an intimate church setting.

Chimes and Occasions features elegantly furnished dressing rooms, 15-foot ceilings, and a space that accommodates up to 125 guests. When you walk in, you'll notice the details, look, and feel of an old French Chapel. There is also an oversized front door, a set of panelled, eight-foot double doors for the bride’s grand entrance, a center aisle with church pews, a gorgeous altar, and a charming bride’s dressing room with Victorian antiques. These antiques with the essence of the Victorian era will help to set an elegant backdrop for your wedding event.
Chimes and Occasions offers a variety of services and amenities for wedding couples and their guests. The reception site fee gives you access to a gorgeous dressing room, setup and cleanup of the event, lighting and sound, tables, chairs, and linens. The venue will also provide you with a list of outside vendors in order to make planning easier. Chimes and Occasions will provide services for bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions, and elopements. The property also has ample, convenient parking, and it also offers wheelchair access.
Having been in business as Chimes and Occasions since 1998, this venue was formerly known as Seabrook’s Antiques. The owner loved working with antiques and sharing them with wedding brides. Eventually, Occasions utilized it’s New Orleans Courtyard, hosting the top bands in Memphis during the 1960s and 70s. The space was transformed into an event space that is well-equipped to handle all types of events, especially weddings. The venue comes furnished with tables, chairs, linens and antiques, and is always set up for its clients.
