Chef Eddie's is a true blessing from God. He made the entire process very simple and easy. Everything was great but I highly recommend you try the homemade Mac & Cheese. I have already referred 3 other couples to C.E... Thanks C. Cutts

Go to the restaurant and meet Chef Eddie and try the food. They catered our union's holiday party and my brothers and sisters are still raving about the food. All the meats were incredibly tender and a crowd of mostly white people thought it was the best greens they'd ever eaten!

We booked Chef Eddie for our wedding on Sept 22, 2018. He had excellent customer services an employees.The Issue with him was the food order was not the choice we picked. The fried chicken was supposed to be wings we got regular chicken. Others complain about it saying it was not cook and the grease tasted old. The bride did not eat all her food just brisket and small amount of rice. We had a lot of food wasted an money. But after feedback he offered us free food at his restaurant. but Everyone loved the Brisket and the mac n cheese they are still talking about it. *BBQ is his thing.*

Food was good. You can basically customize the menu as want. Service was not very desirable. Staff is not polished or timely. We had the timing of events perfectly at our reception when we were introduced, but then for an unknown reason, had to awkwardly wait 20 minutes (as bride and groom) to be served even water. They cooked the food before it was even brought to the venue and it was buffet style with guests bringing up their own plates. So not sure why it took so long to open the buffet line. Caterer is better suited for more casual events, not weddings. Unless it's a super casual, small backyard type of wedding.

I ordered our family Thanksgiving meal from Chef Eddie and it wasn’t a good experience. First, our family lives all over the U.S. and we decided to come together in Orlando, FL for the big day. I spent hours looking for caterers and reading their reviews. I came across Chef Eddie’s restaurant and gave him a call. I have to say, he is a pleasant person to talk to and he listened to my specifications for the meal and assured me he could handle my request. Well our food was to be delivered by 10:00 on Wednesday and we didn’t receive it until around 4. He sent a driver who barely apologized and told my husband that we had not paid for a separate order of five sweet potato pies. I had already paid Mr. Eddie and had a receipt to show but I wasn’t at the house and couldn’t be reached when they finally delivered our meal. So, my husband paid for the pies again. I thought surely we would be able to get the mistake cleared up easily but that was far from the case. I called Chef Eddie and explained the situation and he assured me that he would refund the double payment back to the card used. Well, after returning home and a week had passed with no refund, I called Chef Eddie again. He told me, “I’ve been busy but I will refund it now.” Another week goes by and still no refund so I call again and this time he asked if I had any other way he could refund me. I told him to just mail a check and he asked for my address and after he had my information, I thought surely the refund would arrive. I’m sorry to say that to this date. 15 May 2020, I have still not received my refund.
I would not write this review if only the food wasn’t good because I figure, we took a chance and everyone doesn’t cook like me. However, now I’m going to say, please don’t waste your money (expensive to cater Thanksgiving by the way with this business but I will pay for quality) on catering service from Chef Eddie. Our food (all of it) was tasteless, dry or covered with too much sauce. My sister in law and I had to doctor the greens which had no flavor and put water on the dressing (we didn’t anticipate needing broth) and the 2 turkeys were dry and tiny. My sweet potato pies that I paid for twice had no spices, only sugar. The most important thing to me however, is the business practices of this caterer. He had no reliable accounting system to generate invoices or refund money. I love a good ole old fashioned business but I would not use Cheff Eddie’s Catering again ever and I will post this review wherever I can to warn people not to waste their hard earned money there. If he can live with showing no integrity towards his customers, this review is definitely warranted.
