Chateau de Courtomer is just two hours from Paris but a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Chateau is the perfect choice for intimate, bespoke weddings. The maximum number of people allowed on site for any event is limited to 60 guests. The Chateau was inspired by the Palace of Versailles and was designed with entertainment in mind. It has been recently restored by it's American owner to a very comfortable standard including ensuite bedrooms. The Chateau is surrounded by acres of park and farmland and offers all guests privacy and space. When hosting your wedding on the estate you will have the choice of picture perfect locations for alfresco dining, games and relaxation. You, your friends and family will take away pictures and memories that will last for years to come.

The Courtomer estate is large and features many lovely sites to accommodate your special day, whether it includes an intimate gathering or a larger group. The Chateau itself offers an elegant setting for all types of events. Make an entrance down the grand staircase, enjoy candle lit meals in the main dining room, curl up wth a book in the library, the choice is yours!

Outdoor events; wedding ceremonies, garden parties, picnics and sumptuous wedding breakfasts can all be staged here. The space offered by the park means that your event will flow seamlessly, from the start to finish. The Orangerie, just a short stroll from the Chateau is a light-filled room which opens onto an outdoor patio and walled garden.The Famhouse and Gatehouse offer additional, cosy accommodation on the estate. The Linden Alley is the perfect place to exchange vows or host a barbeque.

Chateau de Courtomer is able to host a wide variety of wedding-related events, including engagement parties, showers, elopements, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. The venue’s helpful, bi-lingual staff aim to provide every couple with an unforgettable experience, from start to finish. The venue has a list of recommended vendors who have recieved rave reviews from our guests, from chefs and planners to make up artists and florists. Our clients are also free to choose the vendors of their choice. We impose no curfews and no corkage.

Accommodation

After the fun and excitement of your big day, you and your guests can enjoy retiring to the Chateau de Cortomer’s comfortable bedrooms. Each features its own en-suite bathroom, fresh linens, towels, and luxurious hand made soap. There’s also the venue’s clubroom with its TV, board games, and card table in addition to the well stocked library with a cosy desk and fireplace. For additional accommodation, you can book the Farmhouse, which can accommodate up to nine guests. Besides comfortable bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, the Farmhouse also includes a fully functional kitchen as well as a private washer and dryer.
