It was everything we dreamed for our wedding!

I recently had my ceremony and reception at the Harbor Event Center and I have to say they did an amazing job making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it! Ashley and Sandy both were very easy to work with and really made the day go smooth from beginning to end! Also, the view on the lawn is beautiful and makes for perfect pictures!

The team at the event center was a pleasure to work with. The venue was perfect for my wedding; the view was to die for, the staff was professional and helpful, the grounds were well kept, and everything was very clean.

They also catered my wedding, and the food was phenomenal. Many guest commented well after the wedding about how much they enjoyed their food.

They were easy to work with, and prompt with emails. They really catered to all of my questions, needs, and wants. I would highly recommend this venue. BOOK NOW!

Loved everything about having my reception here. I had the room with the windows and the view was beautiful. The staff is very helpful and helped me figure out how to arrange everything. It turned out beautiful!

Choosing to have our ceremony and reception at the Event Center was one of the best wedding decisions we made. The location is very beautiful and the building is really stunning on the inside. We wanted a fun, laid back experience for our guests, something between casual and formal. The Event Center was perfect for what we wanted, but would also be great for black tie. The best part of the Event Center is the incredible staff. Amy, Jim, Chef Luke and Melissa worked so hard to make our day perfect - I'm not sure what I would have done without them. Amy is so patient and worked with me to get the right colors, seating arrangements and lighting. She took all of the little things and details that were important to me and made sure to find a way to make them happen. The food was phenomenal - people are still talking about it! Chef Luke and Melissa were great and gave us exactly what we wanted.
I would highly recommend the Event Center to any bride looking for a beautiful location and the most helpful staff there is!

Event Center was beautiful venue. You need to book your date as soon as possible. The décor can be created to suit your theme. Natalie was a pleasure to work with, she is prompt in getting back to you and answering your questions. Many rooms to choose from. The price is a little high but well worth it, if your a looking for something very special. High end on costs for extras.
They may have other events going on at the same time, which means you are working around other people to get in and set up before your event.
Catering was good but again high end on cost. We had plated meal which was great but you pay the highest price for all plates no matter how many you choose. Food was tasty and hot when served.

Holding both my ceremony and reception in one place was very important to us. The Charlotte Harbor Events Center was the absolute perfect place! The staff was efficient, professional, eager to please, and (unexpectedly) very excited for us on our wedding day. I felt like I knew the staff my whole life and they were just as happy for us as our friends and family. The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Charlotte Harbor in our reception area provided the most beautiful backdrop as we celebrated becoming husband and wife. It was so fun to dance the night away watching the sunset and the photos with the sunset background are amazing. The entire day was picture perfect. My wedding was weeks ago and myself and our parents are still getting calls and emails over how beautiful the venue was.

The attitude, willingness, helpfullness, and attentiveness on the day of the wedding was above and beyond. The staff helped to calm nerves, chipped in with decorating and last minute details and seemed to really be enjoying it. Preparations and set up was done promptly and efficiently. The technicians were very helpful. Everyone was very accommodating, always asking if there was anything that we needed or anything that they could do. The food was very good and reasonably priced, competitive with other vendors. The wait staff was polite, prompt and attentive. Amy and Luke did a wonderful job from start to finish. It was obvious that they were experienced, confident and relaxed in the "job at hand". I received many compliments and positive feedback from wedding guests and I would recommend the event center to others looking for a wedding or other venue. Thank you for helping to make my daughter's wedding a very enjoyable and memorable occasion.
