We had some special request, which Cavier & Banana went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! The food was spectacular, it was the topic of conversation even weeks after the wedding. Lance and his team are absolutely fantastic. I felt like they were good friends by the end of our wedding. We reached out to Caviar and Banana very late in the game for a large wedding (400+ guests), he was able to come up with a customized and diverse menu for our wedding in a short amount of time. The food was delicious, creative and well presented and we received a lot of positive feedback about it! They were also great in helping us figure out the ideal set up at Charleston Lane. Would highly recommend working with this great team of professional caterers.

Caviar and Banana Events was one of the very few preferred catering vendors at the our venue that we liked. I knew they were the ONLY catering company who could meet my high standards being a chef myself. Our event and catering specialist, Buffy was responsive and knowledgeable, as well as a fun addition to our wedding tasting. I arrived to our tasting and was greeted with a glass of champagne, love it. My wedding planner and I went to a designated room, where we had printed menus for our tasting, along with our wedding names at the top, love the attention to detail. The tasting was great, and once started, every few minutes a server would come into the room and showcase an option for hors d'ouevres, main course, and our late night snacks. They listened to my feedback and it was noted on the revised menu selections. The day of our event, our guests were greeted with champagne and mocktails (that were amazing!) and when our wedding party arrived at the The Peach Orchard Venue my now husband and I were greeted with our own personal server for the evening. The level of service I noticed amongst staff, including professionalism and grace was exceptional. The food was SPECTACULAR! Thank you Caviar and Banana and your wonderful team for a memorable wedding experience!

I was referred to Caviar & Banana by a friend of mine who used them for her wedding. She told me that Caviar & Banana provides excellent full service catering and set up and boy do they ever! Without any hesitation, I reached out to Lance who was incredibly friendly and helpful in all details of planning. Caviar & Banana and their designers provided everything we could possibly think of for our special day. Lance was incredibly attentive our needs and worked efficiently and professionally to accommodate everyone of our requests. They exceeded our expectations by providing a floor plan of the event space, timeline of the night and making adjustments as often as necessary. Both Lance and Lorie were also present on the night of our event to make sure everything went smoothly. Caviar & Bananas wait staff and chef were incredibly professional and were helpful and friendly throughout the evening.

The food provided by Caviar & Banana was incredibly delicious we absolutely loved the lobster cakes with toasted cheese and the balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. Not only did they provide an EXTENSIVE menu but it was prepared exceptionally well. Our guests raved about the presentation of food as well as portion size. Every single item from the appetizers, salad, entree and dessert was delicious! To make things even better, their chef also packed us a to go bag of all the leftover food from the night., which we enjoyed we got home!

Lance Miller (not even his real name) scammed us for my daughter's wedding in December 2020. He pulled a blatant bait-and-switch--the food was nothing like what he promised at the tasting. He offered a refund that never came and dodged accountability with ever-changing cancer excuses. He has a long history of scams and multiple aliases, one word of advice--RUN! When looking for a coordinator for events, a few things become paramount to a successful relationship. Communication, transparency and clear understanding with follow through are tantamount to hitting the mark for a client. Lance, Lorie and the team at Caviar & Banana have very little of any of those qualities and resume their business like a couple of used cars salesmen trying to book your business today only to fail on delivery tomorrow. We booked our intimate wedding (19 guest) with them with the assurances that for the price paid, things would be of the highest quality. What was delivered to us was a shabby excuse to cut as much cost as possible and demonstrate a perfect execution of bait and switch. After having presented our wishes, clear expectation and thoughts, Lorie was all bells and whistles at the onset assuring that they could deliver what we agreed upon for our special day. At the turn, Lance, a so-called New York culinary alum, delivered the worst meal I could have asked for in a decade. Along with the poor quality in food preparation and presentation, the tables and settings were sold short, miscommunicated and some items were delivered in the opposite color scheme than what was agreed upon. The coordinator Lorie "forgot" many of the items we discussed after two phone meetings and two in-person meetings, she showed up for 90 min the day of the ceremony and left leaving the Aztec Rental supply group to decorate our tables. Her florist Amy was no where to be found and never showed and Lance came in with his team of wonderful line cooks, cut the meal short, delivered most of the food either cold or tasteless and when finishing the meal, conveniently forgot to offer the already paid-for cake we had as the dessert as requested. Having to redirect and correct this idiocy on my wedding day was an utter reminder in the world of today that people like Lance and Lorie will promise you the world only to deliver you a plate of shit, cooked in the fridge on a table decorated by a fictional character named Amy who didn't have the courtesy to show up to her own job.
