Wedding photography is expensive and it’s an investment, so there is no one else I trust with my wedding, my money and my sanity. Right from the beginning, Cassandra helped us organize what shots and styles we wanted and offered her professional suggestions. She was also the first person to ask what my day-of time line was…and I just stared blankly at her. So she very promptly sent over her sample timeline (and boy was it a life-saver).

She traveled from California to Virginia, and the entire day Cassandra and her second photographer were in the background: unobtrusive but attentive to always be there to lend a hand, wave someone into a photo, or capture all the moments you forget about. The day-of she was a remarkably calming influence. A few weeks after the wedding we received the link to all our high-resolution digital images. They were absolutely stunning and perfectly hilarious: she captured all the big moments, the small moments, and the absolutely goofiness that ensued! I cannot recommend Cassandra enough: she’s an absolute professional!

Cass photographed my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer! I really had no idea what to expect but Cass talked me though everything several weeks before the wedding. I thought my shot request list was a bit lengthy but she figured out how to do it all, and better than I could have possibly hoped for. The photos were staged perfectly and you would think she worked as a wedding planner by all the prep work she did. The guests who attended our wedding were not the easiest bunch to coordinate (read: wrangle) for photos but she did it. And to say that the photos are beautiful would be an understatement. I had family members taking photos with their phones over her shoulder (I still feel bad about that) but compared with what she got- the difference is night and day. I was feeling a bit overly sentimental the day of the wedding and thought about my grandparents' wedding photos and what my (hopefully) future grandkids will see from our wedding. After I saw the first preview, I was so grateful that we'd hired Cass to document the beginning of our family. I know we wouldn't have had such beautiful wedding photos with anyone else. I can't recommend Cass highly enough!

Cass was absolutely wonderful! We were pulled in every direction imaginable on the day of our wedding and she was able to wrangle us and our families into beautiful shots we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. Cass has taken our photos for years and they are ALWAYS wonderful. She is always calm, professional, and fun to work with. She really gets to know the people she's photographing and adjusts her style for your needs and personality which is awesome. Most recently she photographed our wedding on a tiny island in the Caribbean, Saba. She and David, her husband, flew out for the wedding and she perfectly captured the three day event. We wanted to share our home on Saba with our friends and family while celebrating our marriage and her photos captured not only the wedding but all the experiences that our guests had and what life is like on our tiny island. In addition to photos during all our activities she insisted on doing a romantic photo session the day after the wedding to be sure we had great memories for the future and the pictures were amazing - I'm so glad she suggested this! Finally, she is so easy to work with. Wedding planning can be stressful and Cass made it easy. She sent out a document ahead of time with some quick questions for me to answer so that she knew what I wanted. On the wedding day itself she was calm and helpful with organising people and making sure the ceremony flowed smoothly. I never once had to worry about whether the important moments were being captured because she had it all covered. We couldn't be happier with her work and we will continue to use her for all our photography needs in the future.

Cassie was very responsive and professional but most importantly, she had great photo ideas! I've never enjoyed photos of myself or enjoyed posing but she made it fun and I love the photos! Highly recommend her!

Cass went above and beyond what we expected from a wedding photographer. Cass and her husband David flew out to Connecticut to shoot our October wedding over two days and we couldn’t be happier with all the fantastic images she took!

By interviewing us beforehand about what was important to us and what we expected, Cass catered to our needs and delivered just that and more. She thought of many things that hadn’t occurred to us, and we felt we were in very good hands. We didn’t have to worry at all about whether she was getting good shots. There were so many wonderful moments she captured, ones we weren’t even aware of, which made looking at our portfolio such a treat.

Cass had great photography skills and also the personality to match her talents. This was really important! Her calm and cool headed demeanor made everyone comfortable in front of the camera. So many of our guests commented about how nice Cass and David were to talk to and how pleasant they are.

Cassandra did an amazing job with everything from beginning to end. We were nervous about getting photos done since neither of us feels very photogenic most of the time and there was is so much pressure on "the photos" from a wedding. Cass walked us through every step of process making sure we knew what general "typical" photos were but not pressuring us into anything that was not important to us and really helped us to shape our event. She left us feeling very informed about our choices and in control of the kind of photos we would get. From the engagement shoot to the end of night photos, Cass helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was the perfect balance between professional and silly that we needed to shine. The final outcome was an vibrant collection of photos that felt really genuine and captured the spirit of the event. We could not have imagined a more perfect experience!

The whole experience of working with Cass was phenomenal!!! She went above and beyond before, during, and after our wedding to make sure we got everything we wanted. She accommodated our wishes as well as had plenty of her own ideas to make sure we captured our day. I'm not big on posing for photos but she made it easy for me. ;)

Cass traveled to New Orleans for our swamp-themed wedding, and appeared to be right at home. She arrived early to the venue because I didn't want to take time out of the reception for photos. She was on her game all night! Several people came up to me during the reception and told me I was going to have great photos and I was like "I KNOW!" THANKS CASS!!!!!!!!!
