I've been in the wedding industry for about 9 years now, just had my own wedding, and couldn't have been more thrilled with having Carrie as my photographer. Beforehand: she was incredibly responsive and helpful (answering my MANY questions!) Day of: she was calm, FUN, and so receptive to the things I asked/needed. I think having vendors with you that are calming is HUGE and VERY necessary on your wedding day. And I think that's why having Carrie was such a good call for me. Her vibe and personality was just what I needed to feel relaxed, yet I knew she was in total control and was on time, getting.stuff.done. Super thankful for her!

Carrie did a wonderful job photographing our microwedding in February 2021. She was so easy to work without the entire process and on the day of. She captured beautiful photos without it taking up excessive time, and really captured the feel of our small, family-focused day. She was already familiar with our venue, which was really helpful as she knew great spots to take photos. Everyone who saw our photos gushed about how gorgeous they were.

Carrie was originally scheduled to shoot our 2020 rehearsal dinner and wedding. We ended up doing a spur of the moment outdoor ceremony + intimate family dinner. We had cancelled all our original vendors and almost forewent professional photos. PHEW! Glad we didn't make that mistake. Carrie was flexible and totally game for all the changes that a 2020 wedding brought - from scheduling to invoicing to to venue changing to weather!

For our ceremony photos, Carrie hiked in with all her equipment! Her calm and collected manner helped keep the day all smiles and giggles. It was just us and Carrie - she seemed to be present at the right moments AND gave us a lot of space to just be. Our outdoor ceremony photos are DREAMY. The black + white ones are probably my favorites. Carrie's timelessly, classic photos are art.

For our dinner, Carrie was the only person present who wasn’t family! All of our family members remarked how professional and warm Carrie was. Once again, she totally went with the flow with our unplanned wedding festivities. For these photos, the depth on the film was so romantic and really captured the specialness of the night.

I had originally chosen Carrie because her photos are not overly romantic but still have so much beauty, she takes many natural candid shots, and she shoots in a variety of formats. She certainly delivered. After working with photographers for other events + friends weddings, I would 100% hire Carrie again. She was a joy to work with and her photos are gorgeous. I cannot wait to have them hanging for the years to come!

I could not speak more highly of carrie as a wedding photographer. almost 18 months after our wedding, I still get the rosiest feeling looking at our photos and thank carrie in my mind every time. she truly told the story of our day through her art, capturing soft color and genuine emotion with impeccable attention to detail and obvious refined experience. on the day itself, carrie was prompt, generous with her time, enthusiastic, and quick to step back and take a more documentary point of view to truly let us savor our unforgettable day. I would choose carrie again & again!

One of the best pieces of wedding advice I got early in the planning process: “get a great wedding photographer, those will forever be your memories of the day”. Carrie could not have captured the joy and love of our wedding day more perfectly. The memories she gave us through her photography are stunning, thoughtful, and thorough. Her images depict the entire story of our day without feeling like we had a photographer following us around. Throughout our planning process Carrie was a huge help in mapping out our day-of timeline and planning the course of events. As an individual, Carrie is calm and collected, thoughtful, and smart - a true joy. And if you’re feeling confused or on-the-fence about film photography: don’t. They are dreamy, soft, stunning, and discernible.

I love this girl. I cannot recommend Carrie enough. She was an exceptional person and photographer, and her patience, relaxed aura, creativity, and positivity was noted by everyone, from my husband and my friends to my extended family, alike. Having Carrie capture our special moments made it even more memorable for us, and I can honestly say that I actually had more fun on my wedding day simply thanks to her presence. It was so natural to have her photograph us, no matter how posed it should have felt in reality, and further, it was such a delight to spend time with Carrie, who became a lifelong friend throughout this process.

She also even helped me put on my veil and bustle my dress, while keeping me calm and making me laugh throughout our wedding day! What a special individual! Anyone would be crazy not to hire Carrie!

Carrie is just the best! She is so good at making you feel comfortable in front of thr camera. We were running about 1.5 hours behind schedule so our picture window was significantly shortened but she made efficient use of the time and got all our group photos done in about 20 minutes. She is so perfect at capturing the personality of her subjects and we could not recommend her enough. Seriously...you want to use Carrie...its the best choice out there!

I cannot say enough nice things about Carrie. She is friendly, personable, and professional. She took the most incredible photos (both digital and film) for our wedding! We could not be happier with the results! Carrie managed to capture our entire night without being intrusive. I cannot recommend her enough and would use her services again without hesitation.

I can't imagine a better wedding photographer than Carrie! The whole process was absolutely wonderful. I first talked to Carrie about a year before the wedding to talk about rough plans for our wedding and set up our engagement shoot. We took engagement photos at the venue and had a blast getting to know Carrie. She shoots a lot of her photos on film and they came out beautifully. The engagement photos were a great way to get some practice for the wedding! On wedding day, Carrie and her second shooter Brittany were prompt and did a really good job of keeping all the photography on schedule. She was helpful in suggesting a "first look" and squeezing in a portrait session for my and my husband, while also taking about a million family portraits for us! All of the photos we got from Carrie are beautiful - she made our day look awesome. Since the wedding, she's been so responsive and helpful. I look forward to taking family portraits with her one day. Thanks for everything, Carrie! Can't recommend her enough!

I could not have chosen a more perfect photographer for our wedding. Having Carrie there felt more like having a friend capture the day than someone we hired. She is professional, kind, and above all, immensely talented. Her photos are stunning and look more like pieces of art.
