Hey, y'all — I'm Cara Largent, owner and lead coordinator at Cara Rose Events, a wedding coordination business based in South Bend, Indiana, serving couples throughout Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.
I specialize in mid-range weddings, offering full-service planning, month-of planning, and day-of wedding coordination for couples who have a vision and need an experienced hand to help bring it to life. Packages include three in-person planning meetings, rehearsal direction, full wedding-day setup, vendor coordination, and complete teardown — so you can be fully present for every minute of your day instead of managing logistics.
Before launching Cara Rose Events, I spent seven seasons as lead wedding coordinator at The Morris Estate in Niles, Michigan, coordinating more than 150 weddings. That hands-on experience taught me how to spot a problem before it happens and handle it before anyone even knows it was one.
I work closely with trusted vendors across the region — florists, photographers, bakers, and venue teams — so your wedding day runs on real relationships, not guesswork. Whether it's a stressed vendor or a nervous parent of the bride, I bring the same calm, steady kindness to every part of the day.

The Story:

She helped us from beginning to end, managing everything our (paid for weeding planner) didn't complete as well as staying 5 steps ahead of all potential roadblocks the day of! She stayed on top of us (in the nicest way possible) standing by our side as we made choices about our special day. Her expertise, fun and free personality, and lovely way of being is second to none!
