Camp Lindenmere

Camp Lindenmere was fantastic. Our guests had an absolute blast. In fact, multiple people told us that it made them wish they’d done a camp wedding! Particular highlights:
- The food was seriously amazing. The tacos were our favorite but everything was honestly amazing.
- The camp had a massive team on hand for the weekend, which meant that everything ran smoothly and there were always more than enough team members available to deal with anything that came up. Our guests gushed about how friendly and helpful all the staff members were.
- Kyle was our main point of contact during the planning process. We found him to be extremely responsive and easy to work with. He provided the right balance of guidance and flexibility (“I recommend X but we’ll do whatever you prefer”), which helped de-stress all the hundreds of tiny decisions that crop up during planning.
- There were lots of nice little touches. For example, we had a dedicated team member to drive us wherever we needed on the wedding day.

The folks at Camp Lindenmere are total pros, while also being extremely nice and accommodating. We couldn’t have been happier with how everything went.

Camp Lindenmere exceeded our expectations to bring our dream of a camp wedding to life! The staff is absolutely incredible, the facilities were great and the catering was excellent. 10/10 would recommend Camp Lindenmere to anyone looking for a unique and FUN camp wedding!

My wife (yay) and I have been to A LOT of weddings in the past couple years, and one thing that we noticed time and time again was that we were all celebrating the couple, but it we never actually got to hang out with the couple. Between all the pictures, the stress, the speeches, the hellos to distant relatives, the only time we actually spend with the bride and group is usually a little during cocktail hour and a couple seconds as we fist pump to Mr Brightside during the reception.

When visioning what we wanted out of our wedding weekend, we knew the number 1 priority was finding a place that could accommodate guests, so that we could at least spend an evening and a morning with close friends and family. We wanted a weekend where we could celebrate, but also spend genuine quality time with our loved ones. This led us to looking at bed and breakfasts and campsites, but nothing really felt right. Then we stumbled upon Camp Lindenmere, and as soon as we took a tour we knew it was the place for us.

We are both very active and sporty people, so having the campground to play with our friends and family was amazing. There was truly something for everyone - we got to play sports with our active friends, drink all day from the beer/snack cart, trails for the runners in the group, there was arts and crafts and a lake with a beach front for the less sporty, a pool, and GYM and the list goes on and on. The cabins are updated and cozy, plenty of space for our entire guest list for about 150, and the private rooms are nicer than some hotels we’ve stayed in. If accommodations at a camp are scary, I assure you the accommodations blew everyone’s expectations away. The food catered by camp and I kid you not, at least 90% of our guests stopped us in passing to tell us that they will never eat a potato or sweet potato fry as good as the ones at Camp Lindenmere. And that’s just the stuff aside from the wedding! The wedding space was beautiful, spacious and inviting.

Kyle and Elliott were our go to guys, and helped us through the planning process. They kept everything organized and easy going, giving us feedback along the way to ensure the wedding was smooth sailing, affordable and unforgettable. They truly wanted the weekend to be our vision, and helped us as much as they could every step of the way. They listened to what we wanted and accommodated whenever possible (even with some of my more ridiculous requests).

You know when the bride and groom are low key stressed trying to manage behind the scenes while also being the center of attention? Prior to the weekend, we met with Kyle and Elliott and talked about what we wanted the weekend to be - down to every last detail. They asked us to make a manual of what needed to be done at all times. Because of this, my wife and I had no stress from the moment we arrived thursday to when we left of Sunday. We were fully taken care of (and our guests), and we were supported by a whole staff at camp all weekend.

Our wedding was about a month ago, and people still text us to remind us how amazing our wedding weekend was. Not just because of the activities, but because of the extra quality time we got to spend with our friends and family.

So thank you once again to the team - Kyle, Elliott, Lewis, Jacque, and many more for making our dream weekend come to life. When are we running it back? (Maybe just the party part, we intend on staying married! Haha)

Wow wow wow. I have been putting this off because I don’t know where to begin. From beginning to end the coordinator Kyle and entire staff were exceptional!!! Camp Lindenmere was the coolest place for a camping trip wedding! It was the best find! Yes I can go on and on about the facility itself and I will but the best part was hands down the staff!!!! This group of wonderful humans did everything to make sure my husband, myself and all our guests were comfortable and having fun. The planning process was very smooth. The tour and tasting itself was one of the best days ever. The food is outstanding!!! This place truly has it all. The cabins are newly renovated and the activities were never ending. I showed up with the weekend itinerary and they took care of the rest. This camp was better than the camp I went to every summer as a kid. My step daughter is now asking to go to this camp. Our wedding weekend was one of the best times of our lives and it’s all thanks to Camp Lindenmere and their staff!!!!! Weeks later and people are still talking about how much fun they had. Thank you sooo much Kyle, Elliot, Louis and the entire CL crew!!! We LOVE you guys!!!! Beyond grateful 🙏

Having our wedding over a weekend at camp was to ensure that our guests had an opportunity to get to know each other prior to our wedding celebration. Camp Lindenmere definitely made that happen! They encouraged everyone to let loose and be silly which was an amazing bonding experience. It was so fun for us to get to see our favorite people interact and really get to know one another, allowing our friends to make new friends. Isn’t that the whole point of camp?!

We came to camp with a clear idea of the experience we wanted to provide to our guests. The leadership group (Kyle, Edvin & Lewis) took the time to understand our vision and organized planning sessions and visits to craft the experience we were looking for. From putting together menus and beverage selections, to planning the weekend schedule and handling payments, they helped keep things moving along while helping us finalize the details for our event.

Staying in the bunks was fun for most of our guests - and having private rooms with ‘real’ mattresses and beds was a perfect solution for others, ensuring that everyone could stay the whole weekend and take advantage of all the activities.

There were organized games like kickball and lake relays, and other activities like archery, the climbing wall or trapeze (!) available all day. There were enough group activities to promote getting to know each other and the entire day ended with a huge relay race across camp that EVERYone participated in! It was so fun - everyone was smiling and exhausted by dinner time, but the good times kept going late into the night!

And that was the day before the wedding! On top of a fantastic camp day, Kyle and the crew threw an amazing party!

The wedding day was just as wonderful and fulfilling as the camp experience. Our guests were free to relax or keep playing at camp while we got ready at the Lake House, which was a beautiful place for our first round of photos. As we made our way over to the amphitheater from the Lake House, the staff filtered our guests into the ceremony location where the team had set up our chuppah and arranged the planters and flowers, everything was absolutely beautiful. The team took our vision for the set up and executed our ideas, and then some! Everyone went above and beyond!

While we took pictures, our guests went to cocktail hour and then down to the circus for the reception - transportation by golf cart was available for those that couldn’t make the walk. The transition to each location was smooth and easy for everyone to understand.

Everyone was so energized by the day before, so the reception was definitely the climax. Everyone jumped onto the dance floor as soon as the music started - we couldn’t wait to get out there!

Over the course of the weekend every member of the staff was simply incredible. Our guests couldn’t help but rave about how friendly and helpful each team member was. It was clear that everyone’s primary goal was to make sure our guests were taken care of. Additionally, the number of staff members made available to us made the logistics of hosting a weekend long event a breeze! The entire event is still something our guests talk about with a huge smile!

Our wedding at Camp Lindenmere was absolutely everything we wanted and more. We give so much credit to the incredible staff, who truly made our wedding come to life. Everyone from leadership down always had a positive attitude and said yes to any request. They were always thoughtful, enthusiastic, friendly, professional, and a real joy to work with. We really appreciated the feeling that the staff wanted to do everything in their power to make this the best weekend of our lives. And they succeeded! The venue itself provided so many fun and memorable experiences for our family and friends throughout the weekend. Looking back a year later, we are still in awe of how perfect our wedding was. We cannot recommend Camp Lindenmere enough!

Camp Lindenmere was a dream to work with and to host our wedding. The staff is incredible and always there to help with anything/everything. I honestly can't say enough positive things about the folks that helped us. They are just such a fun and hardworking group. They bring the feeling of summer camp to the forefront of their service but in the most professional (and fun) way possible. You can see their friendships and positivity through the staff which made it even more enjoyable to work with them.

The venue itself is amazing and they're really flexible with how you want to change things up. They literally helped make my vision complete and even added things to it that I didn't even think of. There are so many different areas that are perfect for photos, getting ready, and any sort of fun activity you could imagine.

I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outdoor, rustic, romantic wedding that's filled with lots of laughs, great people, beautiful photos, and a lifetime of memories.

My wife and I got married at Camp Lindenmere in September of 2022 and we had an incredible experience! The camp grounds are beautiful and our guests had a blast being there. The lake was particularly well-liked. Not all activities were available to us for the weekend, but that was okay. We really wanted our guests to enjoy being together in one or two locations rather than being spread out. Everyone we have talked to since has only had to say how much fun they had at our wedding which makes us really happy to hear.

The camp staff was also really great to work with. Kyle and Edvin were really helpful in the planning process. They scheduled several conference calls with us in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure we weren't freaking out and that everyone was on the same page. They also took the lead on directing a lot of the wedding events and made sure everything went smoothly over the weekend. They recommended that we not get a wedding planner, which I'm glad we didn't because Kyle and Edvin helped us more than someone unfamiliar with the camp could have.

The whole staff was great during the weekend, too. Everyone was super helpful, pleasant, and laid back. Our guests all really enjoyed being around the staff which I think is pretty rare these days. They also had dietary accommodations available for each meal which was something we asked for and they delivered.

Also - to rent the whole camp out for a weekend was fairly expensive but they helped make it more affordable. Because guests would be staying at the camp from Friday to Sunday and eating meals and drinking alcohol all weekend, the camp staff collected an initial payment for each guest before the wedding (the amount per guest was determined by myself and my wife). This money went directly to helping pay our final cost which made a huge difference to us. It was also really convenient for our guests because there were no money transactions during the weekend, it was like an all-inclusive vacation. Additionally, the camp staff processed all of the payments for our guests which took a lot off our plate in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

To anyone interested in having a camp weekend wedding, I would highly recommend Camp Lindenmere!
