The Cambridge Winery was a perfect fit four our Romantic and Rustic wedding theme. Our on-site wedding coordinator Abby was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful, quick to respond to all our questions, easy to talk to and was always happy to help make our wedding run smooth. We decided to go with Cambridge Winery also as a one stop shop which included the ceremony, reception, catering, bar, get ready rooms for the bridal party for hair and makeup and a room for the groom and his groomsmen. The space was gorgeous and spacious. As for the catering, we received so many compliments on the food as well as the cake! We asked the chef to create our wedding cake from a picture and he absolutely did not disappoint. It was amazingly delicious!!!! The view from inside is breathtaking from the wall of windows. Our guests, my husband and I definitely recommend this venue.

Cambridge Winery and their staff went way beyond the call of duty for sure. We cannot begin tell you the number of compliments I received regarding how beautiful the events center was and the FOOD! Oh my, the food was awesome from the deviled eggs to the prime rib to the brat bites. We definitely scored big on the food. We are so glad we went the extra mile there. It was loved by all. We also received so many compliments about how pretty and perfect the ceremony was. Also, at opulent our wedding looked. Every little girl dreams of her wedding day, mine was perfect and it was my dream wedding. So glad I got my dream wedding at my dream venue

Jen was fantastic! She was great about answering all of my questions and never made me feel like I was a bother. Chef Noah was incredible - his antipasti spread was phenomenal and had all of our friends talking about how great the food all was!! The property itself was beautiful and the staff was so helpful with getting the final details set up... I could've have dreamed of a better venue for our day!!

We really enjoyed the planning process and final result with the winery. Meetings were detailed and pricing was upfront and honest. Tables and linens were professional and use of space was excellent. We had to move our ceremony indoors due to weather, and the staff was super accommodating and set the space up really nice. There were some small issues with coordination between a few staff members leaving the business and then a new employee coming on, but I think this wouldn't be a problem in the future. This is an excellent value for the price, a beautiful location, and our guests couldn't have been happier! Recommend for weddings of about 120.

Our wedding day itself turned out wonderful thanks to the staff & the Sales and Event Manager - Natalie Baumann. They were professional, kind, and did everything they could to make sure things ran smoothly. We really appreciated their effort and care.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the owner Laurie Peregrine. She was extremely unprofessional and actually yelled at me, the bride, in front of others. Instead of calmly communicating or giving a warning, she acted like a hothead and said, “you know what you did,” when in reality nothing had been explained to me.

To be clear in Wisconsin, taking shots is not illegal. What’s illegal is selling alcohol without a license. We even spoke with someone who owns a different wedding venue, and they said most places give three warnings for things like this. Here, there wasn’t even one warning just yelling and hostility from the owner - Laurie Peregrine

Yes, we understand we broke part of the contract regarding shots and we accepted the $500 fee for it. But the way it was handled was unnecessary and disrespectful. On top of that, the owner tried to add extra fees and tips ($150 more) without transparency. She even took her frustrations out on her own staff, which was very unfair, because they were the ones who handled everything gracefully.

We paid nearly $15,000 for the venue, food, drinks, gratuity, and additional tips so to be told her staff was “missing out” when she controls how much they actually receive felt wrong. Her staff earned and deserved every bit of credit, but it’s hard to believe they see much of that money when the owner behaves this way.

If you book here, just be aware: the venue itself and the staff are great, but the owner’s unprofessional behavior can cast a shadow on an otherwise special day
