Cakes by Char helped my family design the style and taste that we were looking for. Char invited us to a cake tasting and helped us pick out designs for a groom's chocolate torte and my daughter's cake, which was a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Closer to the event, Char met with me personally and helped me finalize and design the most gorgeous main wedding cake that was lemon with raspberry frosting. Char encouraged me to make a platform for the bird family I had purchased on Etsy and I strung some pearls and provided a banner that went over the bird family as well. The results were well worth the effort and it motivated me put some finishing touches on a wedding that I had mostly relied on vendors to decorate. Char is a no-nonsense vendor who has a great work ethic, taking pride in her creations and she makes the best cream cheese mints. Char will get the job done beautifully at a great price.

Char is AMAZING! We had the best wedding cake and groom's cake we could have possibly asked for. Char took the time to meet with us to hash out the design of the cake and we came up with a design to fit our peacock colored wedding which Char carried out beautifully! We ended up going with her famous chocolate raspberry torte for the grooms cake, and she was not kidding when she said it was her most in demand cake! It was the hit of the reception. We can't thank Char enough for the beautiful work she did for us.

Char is wonderful at what she does. It added such a sweet tone to have homemade cakes and cupcakes at our wedding. She is very versed in cake making and decorating and they were both beautiful and moist. She made our mints too to which I heard from several people (these are the best mints I have ever had!). So many choices for flavors and she frosts them to your dreams. Set up and delivery went great!

Our cake had the best flavor in a wedding cake imaginable. Char did an outstanding job. My cake was her almond basic white cake and I got so many compliments on it. The groom's cake was also delicious - chocolate with a peanut butter center. I asked for her to put "the Wolvering" from x-men on it and the look wasn't exactly what I had in mind but her pretty and elegant wedding cakes look phenomenal.
