Not only was our cake beautiful, it was the best cake we have ever had. We had layer of white cake and a layer of lemon cake with white vanilla buttercream, and wow!! We had 16 of us, we ate the whole thing!! Donna was great to work with too, highly recommended!!

Donna created the most stunning cake ever for my parents' 50th anniversary. It was truly a work of art that was fitting for such a milestone! Her creative and gorgeous cake completely made the celebration a success, (and it also tasted delicious!!)

Donna was amazing to work with in creating the perfect cake for our starfish/beach themed wedding. The cake was gorgeous and tasted divine! Our guests were so impressed with the cake (both it’s fabulous taste and how pretty it was)! We were worried about making sure we had enough cake so she suggested adding a dozen matching cupcakes and that was perfect. We highly recommend Cake Hatteras and will definitely use them for our cake needs in the future (anniversary cake maybe, lol!)

You can't go wrong with this choice!!! I had emailed 10 days before my wedding (was planned already for Key West but due to Irma was canceled and had to relocate fast) ask what the chances were. I received an email that night saying "I would be happy to". All I can say is Donna was wonderful from the 1st email to the one on one personal visit. Not only did she make a beautiful looking cake for us the taste of it .... there are no words. The flavor was amazing and everyone had a piece and said how amazing it was. You want perfect then you found it here!!!

Don't overlook this option if you are planning a wedding or other special event on the Outer Banks! Always answered my calls and reassured me that all would go well, and it did. Used the ideas and pictures we sent to make just the cake we envisioned.

Donna made cupcakes and a cookie cake for our recent wedding and she did such an amazing job! The cupcakes (strawberry, funfetti, and chocolate) were all delicious and the cutting cake that she made was beautiful with a pink rose pattern. She also made a cookie cake groom cake for my husband and was very flexible and responsive in helping me with that. She was very easy to work with and had a very quick response time. We got so many compliments on the cakes and I highly recommend her.

Donna at Cake Hatteras was wonderful to work with! She was quick to respond to any of our questions and was very helpful if we just couldn't make up our minds when choosing a cake. Many of our guests said it was the best cake they had ever tasted and my husband and I definitely agree! I would highly recommend Cake Hatteras for any of your cake needs while on the Outer Banks!

We found Cake Hatteras on facebook and I was in love with all the pictures of the cakes. I e-mailed Donna, and she was very nice. So we took a trip down and went for a cake tasting. It was DELICIOUS!!! She had so many samples and she even made bags for us to take home. We want to have cupcakes for the wedding. When I got to the reception hall, the display was amazing!!! It was exactly what I have asked for and much more!!!

My wedding cake was not only BEAUTIFUL!!! But is was DELICIOUS too!!! I was a nervous wreck about the cake and catering as I was planning a my wedding from NY and was unable to taste any of it. But Donna from Cake Hatteras was great! She encouraged me to look at her cakes on facebook and told me to send her pictures of any cakes I had found (on Pinterest, ect) that I liked and she could make a combination of them if I'd like. She was really flexible and helpful. The cake was to die for and everyone LOVED IT!! I am so glad I added 24 more cupcakes just 2 weeks prior to the wedding. The next day all I had left was 6 cupcakes and the top of the cake of course. Prices were approx. $6 per serving of cake and $3 per cupcake. I would highly recommend Dawn at Cake Hatteras!
