…we want something different from the typical wedding band-for-hire…we want people to dance all night…” is the common theme we hear from wedding couples.

While this 8-piece soul band makes people dance and move throughout many of Chicago’s premier music venues and festivals, we continually embrace the opportunity to play weddings and other special events throughout the Midwest and beyond where the mission is to create something fun, fresh, unique, exciting and truly memorable.

Our first requests to play weddings came shortly after the band started playing at Chicago venues about 8 years ago… and was followed by the next request, and the next and the next...

Brooke's band is a Black woman-owned business and is proud to have a full soul line-up made up of a diverse group of people from numerous backgrounds and places across the United States. Each brings their own specific strengths and talents to a truly dynamic group.
