We had an absolutely amazing time at our wedding thanks to our incredible DJ, Brian Hess. The music selection was so perfect that we spent two hours straight on the dance floor, loving every minute of it.

The live instrument and drums added an extra element, making it feel more like a performance than just a playlist. Our friends and family couldn't stop raving about the entertainment, giving huge compliments all around.

Even with all the nerves of walking down the aisle, I noticed the live trio performed our songs beautifully, playing them live. We are so thankful to have had such an outstanding DJ and live musicians to make our day unforgettable.

Brian was amazing! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. He played the perfect mix of music to keep the party going. Our guests kept commenting about how great the DJ was. He also played in a trio during our cocktail hour which was a huge hit!! Thank you, Brian!!

Brian was so fun to work with for our wedding a couple weeks ago in Tahoe City. We knew we wanted a DJ for our dance floor, but wanted some sort of live element during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our wedding planner had recommended Brian and I'm so glad she did. We had an acoustic guitar for the ceremony, a trio of drums/sax/guitar during cocktail hour and then Brian DJ'd during the dance floor. Everything went perfectly! He promised the transitions throughout the evening would be seamless and he was right. I also told him last minute to feel free to play his saxophone on the dance floor and he joined us for a few songs, which was so fun! Everyone loved it and our guests were raving about how fun it was. Brian was super easy and flexible to work with, and we can't recommend him enough!

Brian and the other artists that partner with him are amazing!! Music was the #1 most important aspect of our wedding and we had a LONG do not play list. The dance floor was packed all night and Brian knew how to take our list and weave in other songs to keep the vibes high. He also whips out the saxophone which brings in a live music element and gets the guests excited!

We worked with Brian Hess for our summer wedding in South Tahoe. The live jazz trio created a buzzing, loungy atmosphere for our guests to enjoy during dinner and it was absolutely fabulous! All the music elevated the whole entire event. After dinner, Brian transitioned into a dance DJ booth for the outdoor dance floor. All the cues and announcements were spot on. We loved all the music he played. We gave him a playlist of songs we liked for reference and he used that to perfectly tailor the music to our taste. The dance floor was rocking and grooving all night. Sound quality from the speakers was exceptional! He’s highly professional, friendly, with great taste and flawless execution. We highly recommend him for your wedding or event.

Brian Hess/Brian Hess Music provided the live instrumental trio for our daughter’s July wedding ceremony & cocktail hour (2 venues) at The Resort at Squaw Creek, and then Brian Hess served as the DJ for the entire reception for this beautiful summer Tahoe wedding with 200 guests. The live trio were excellent – beautiful, soft background music for the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. For the indoor reception, the bride, our daughter, really wanted a truly great party centered on great dancing. Brian delivered. He is an exceptionally talented and absolutely professional DJ. He was great. The near absence of anyone in their seats after dinner is a testament to his ability to read the crowd and keep them on the dance floor. The dance floor literally "rocked" until midnight. Countless guests remarked “best reception ever”. Brian’s pricing was very reasonable with no surprises at any time.
