Erica was the wedding planner for my daughter’s June 21, 2025 wedding. She is amazing! Extremely organized, creative, and budget conscious. She is a joy to work with. We had so much fun throughout the entire process! I highly recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars on this review I would because I could write a novel on how wonderful Blush and Bashful events and our planner Erica Thomas have been.

My fiancé and I have been engaged for 15 months, so my family and I chose to do the full service planning package which has given us ample time to get to work with Erica and her team. Erica is all things you want in a wedding planner: Detail oriented, friendly beyond words, organized, timely, patient, extremely knowledgeable of the industry, and so passionate about what she does. Not to mention her problem solving skills are impeccable if anything does happen to come up that you might be stressed about, she comes up with a way to resolve it almost instantly. I would recommend her to any bride trying to plan their big day because she will make sure it is the wedding day of your dreams. She doesn’t miss a deadline, handles hundreds of vendors and makes it look easy (when it’s definitely not) and even has great taste when it comes to making recommendations on decor ideas, florals, invitation suites, and all the little details that will make your wedding day so unique and beautiful. She makes sure that all you have to worry about as a bride is the fun stuff, while she handles all the behind the scenes chaos and NEVER misses a beat.

We were recommended by our venue wonder to use Erica/Blush and Bashful Events and it has been the best use of our money in the entire wedding planning process. The venue owner Jakob had a list of all the pre approved wedding planners that he works with, but told me, “Erica won’t just be a planner, she will become a lifelong friend.” And BOY was he right!! She made all of our planning meetings so much fun whether it was a meeting at the venue, a zoom call or even a phone call on a busy day, and made sure you were feeling hopeful and positive of all the planning to come. Everyone tells you wedding planning is so stressful, but if you use a planner like Erica and her team, you will have quite the opposite experience. If you are looking for someone who will not just be a planner, but also become someone that you look forward to speaking with (because you will be talking to your planner A LOT) then Erica is your girl.

If you are looking for a wedding planner, you NEED blush and bashful! They went above and beyond for my special day. Erica handled details I had not even considered and ensured that I was able to enjoy myself and my wedding day. If you are looking for a team who can do it all and then some, call these ladies! Our special day would not have been the same without blush and bashful.

Erica the owner of blush and bashful is honestly just the best of the best. I showed up to my wedding day with absolutely 0 concerns because I felt confident, she had it covered. If anything went wrong on my wedding day I wouldn’t know because Erica fixed it before it was an issue. Having a destination wedding is no easy task, but I knew Erica would find me the best vendors with the best prices. If you are contemplating hiring Erica and her team as your planners, my only recommendation is DO IT NOW. You will truly not regret it.

Erica and her entire team were so great throughout the entire process of planning my wedding. I was in school while we were engaged and did not always have a ton of time to dedicate to wedding planning, but Erica took care of everything. She had vendor recommendations that were fabulous and she was in constant contact with everyone keeping us all on the same page. On the day of the wedding, I was able to sit and enjoy myself and take it all in because her team was amazing. I cannot recommend this business enough!!!

I couldn't have dreamt of a better experience. I'm a procrastinator by nature and Erica kept me on track with wedding planning and was always so responsive when I needed help. She found our vendors so quickly and helped us with timelines and creative options if availability was an issue. She is so organized, sweet, patient, compassionate, and everything else you could ever want in a wedding planner. She genuinely cares about all of her couples. She responded quickly to any requests or questions, always made me feel like I was a priority, and worked closely with my all vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page. Even my vendors mentioned to me how impressed they were with Erica's organization and attention to detail! On the actual wedding day, she was such a calming presence throughout the craziness of everything, keeping us on track while making sure we were enjoying the moment. Such an amazing experience to work with Blush and Bashful Events. They were absolutely incredible - they make the whole wedding experience much easier and enjoyable.
