Robbin was wonderful! She made such a huge effort to make me feel special and also made my daughter feel special the day of the wedding. She did a beautiful job with my makeup and my BM's makeup and was amazing at what she did. She was a pleasure to work with and I really would recommend her to anyone!

I was within a month from my wedding ( May, 2010) and I was getting very nervous and sad that I was still searching for a makeup artist. I had visited a few makeup artists in the area and had spent money having them do a trial run on me but until I met Robbin, no one was able to deliver the result that I wanted. I had envisioned a natural look that would not make me looking like a barbie doll but enough makeup so that the camera would still be able to capture the makeup. I met Robbin on a Sunday afternoon and while I was driving I could remember feeling hopeless that this will be another worthless consultation. To my surprise, I was totally blown away with Robbin's knowlege and experience. Robbin was prepared, organized, and clean. I emphasized cleanliness because of my experience with a couple of the other artists prior to Robbin were not clean at all. In this line of business, I think it is imperative that all makeup artists should maintain a sanitary environment for their clients. Robbin took her time to do my makeup and while she was doing this, she explained to me in detail what she was doing so that I could better understand what was being applied to my face. When everything was done, I could not tell you how beautiful I looked. ( pardon me for bragging ) The makeup was simply amazing. I did not feel the heaviness of the makeup and my skin was flawless and glowing. Robbin met my expectations and she came through for me. I immediately booked her for my wedding so she could do my makeup and hair and even booked her to do my mom's makeup and hair.
Robbin came through for me on my wedding day and she did such a beautiful job that many of the guests complimented me on my makeup and hair. With gratitude and very fond memories of my wedding, Robbin contributed to making my wedding day a beautiful day for me and my husband. Thank you, Robbin. You are simply the best!!!

Robbin was wonderful -- My hair and make-up looked great!

Robbin is WONDERFUL!!! When it comes to doing wedding make-up or make-up in general Robbin knows what she is doing. She is easy to work with and listens to everything you want. She is very responsive to phone calls and emails- which for a bride is MAJOR!!! And most important was my special day- Robbin made me beautiful- my make-up lasted all day and night. When I finally got home at the end of the big day my husband was amazed that my make-up looked as good then as it did at our ceremony. I would strongly recommend Robbin to all brides she does a great job- since she is a perfectionist. And she'll get along with everyone and make your entire wedding party happy- I assure you that my entire wedding party was totally happy the work she did!!!!!

Wow, wow, wow! Robbin was AMAZING! I had my wedding in Annapolis in July and planned everything from New York. I didn't ever get to meet Robbin and her team until the day-of the wedding and was a little nervous because I did not have a trial-run with my hair or make-up. Robbin and her team did the hair and make-up for my sister and I and what a wonderful job they did. They whole experience was SO easy! Robbin got back to me right away, was the least expensive out of all the other hair/make-up artists, I contacted, and was so responsive. She sent me pictures and really wanted to get to know me and what I was looking for to make sure she could give me what I expected. They came early on my wedding day and set-up so quickly. They got right to work after making sure they had a good idea about what we wanted, but were so easy when we made suggestions. Robbin even played around with my hair, fixing things she, herself, didn't like. She was so open to making changes until we got everything just right! Plus, the conversation was fun, too! And my sister and I looked breathtaking, but still very "us", which is the look we both wanted to maintain. After the hair and make-up was done, I got in my dress and Robbin stayed to take pictures for me. They were some of the best "bride" shots that were taken on my wedding day and I am so grateful she did that! She even sent me copies of the photos that were waiting in my mailbox upon my return from my honeymoon. Could you ask for anything more?! Robbin and her team were not only professional and reliable, they were also fun and really open to what we wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I am beyond happy that I get to sing her praises. I would definitely recommend her! She is wonderful!

Robbin was excellent. She was reasonably priced and was willing to come out to where I was staying. I can't tell you how much this was a stress reliever. She did a fantastic job with the hair and makeup. So much so, my friend who is getting married in a few days is going to use the same hair style and probably makeup. I had 3 months to plan my wedding and had the hardest time finding hair&makeup availability for my wedding date, I was so reliened when I found Robbin online and to be honest I couldnt have imageined having anyone else. She was very flexible & professional but also down to earth and fun to work with. She made me feel like she genuinely cared about what I would look like on my wedding day and that was to important to me... I highly recommend Robbin for your wedding hair and make up!!! She was delightful to work with from the first email up to the day of my wedding. Very responsive to emails, professional and personable. Everything was planned and executed perfectly on my wedding day- didn't have anything to worry about. I absolutely loved my hair and make up- everyone said I looked like a movie star! And my make up looked great throughout the entire event from 3:00 in the afternoon through the after party til 3 a.m.

She was very easy to contact and responded to my e-mails very promptly. She was patient and open to my ideas to make sure my make-up was how I wanted it. I did 2 trial runs with her - both times she was very professional and personable. Her attention to details was very apparent. She really took her craft seriously, so I knew she would do everything she could to make sure she gave me the look I wanted.

She was a huge help on the day of the wedding - she came with her own supplies and chair. She put my make-up on before my hair was styled, but she stayed around until my stylist did my hair so she could touch up my make-up before I left for the church. She even put my veil on for me since my attendants did not know how to put it on.

She was great! You will have so many things to worry about as you plan your wedding, but if you book Robbin, your make-up will not be one of those things you'll have to worry about. If you book Robbin you will definitely get what you want.

While I was searching for a hair and make up artist for my wedding day, I came across Blush 1, Robbin’s company. From initial contact Robbin was and still is 1st class. Not only does Robbin know her MAC make-up, current hair styles, tricks to cover up tattoos (so you would never know tattoo existed), and stays with you til you walk down the aisle for any needed last minute touches as well as knows how to work with a group of women on the BIG wedding day but her easy going personality and positive attitude makes your day go so smoothly.

She was able to travel to my wedding location on Eastern Shore, MD, work on 5 women to make us all looking amazing and feel beautiful with hair and make-up! The hair and make up did not wear off or fall down or out.

Robbin made each person look unique and listened to each person to create a look that met their personal tastes and wishes. Everyone was satisfied and Robbin gave 115% all morning long on each person.

The final look for the wedding party’s hair and make-up was not too much or too little…it was just right! I even took the time to go meet Robbin to do a trial. It was great because I was able to work with Robbin to find my colors and tones for make-up. And also get my hair style design nailed down. This trial made my wedding day run so much smoother plus I was able to meet and work with Robbin prior to the day of the wedding. This put me at ease! And helped me relax and not worry.
