First, we are not a typical venue. Blame Her Ranch is the home of Steve and Linda Blamer, who started renting their ranch for weddings after their daughter’s wedding in 2017. Multiple vendors came to us after the event and said, “ you have to rent this ranch.” And here we are! We love welcoming couples into our home.

BHR is unlike any other place as we sleep 44+. Imagine having your entire wedding party staying with you during your event weekend. Additionally, we have 4 indoor/outdoor venues for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, or cocktail hour! This basically gives BHR an automatic weather back-up for your big day, if you need it... nobody offers that in New Mexico without additional fees.

Not only does BHR have fantastic accommodations in our main lodge and barn, but additionally, we feature glamping options. We have two Conestoga Wagons, an authentic Tipi, and two Airstream Bambis. Each feature luxury furnishings, linens, and decor!

Besides our amazing venues, we have fantastic amenities for you to enjoy and relax leading up to your big day. Enjoy our tranquil cliff-front sunset patio which features multiple day beds, seating, umbrellas, and a one-of-a-kind fire feature. Catch a swim in our custom made pool, take a steam in our cliff-front sauna and cauldron hot tub, or get your sweat on in our fabulous gym featuring Peloton’s bike and treadmill. And don’t forget to explore our full 2,000+ acres and the Santa Fe National Forest which is right next door via hiking or renting our neighbor's horses!

Let me tell you why we are different than other venues, and most importantly, how BHR saves you money! First, we let you decide how you want to cater your wedding from home cooking to food trucks to outdoor BBQ to a formal sit down dinner. It is all up to you to decide while other venues force you to use their caterers and thereby charge you more. Just as important, all beverages and bar service is at your discretion which can save you thousands of dollars vs. paying the high-priced hotel or catering liquor bills. Plus, we never charge resort fees, parking, gratuity, or food/beverage charges. Also, with our lodging option, we have no cutoff times. Most venues shut down the party down at 10 p.m., but at BHR if you want to party till 4 a.m., be our guest!

We offer multiple packages that help you decide what works for you on your special day. You can choose either 3 or 5 night stays and choose if you want to include all our additional glamping accommodations at a discounted rate. More information on pricing can be found on our website. Additionally, we only request 10% down while most other locations require 25%!

We also offer single-day events during the week. However, most people choose the multi-night package to really capture the full scope of BHR!

Additionally, with our optional in-house invoicing program, we can directly bill anyone you want to stay at the ranch, so your lodging costs can drop immensely and we do all the work to collect the money.

While some venues require you to hire a wedding planner, we don’t, but we do have a personal ranch-concierge that can help you save thousands of dollars on your catering, music, dance floor, and other wedding costs from other suppliers we work with.
