Black Bear Strings Price Rates
Hannah is a freelance violinist based in Eugene Oregon. She graduated from the University of Oregon with her Master's of Music in violin performance. In 2021 she recieved UO’s Outstanding Graduate Performer Award, and was a finalist in the UO Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition in 2020. She is currently the Principal Second Violinist at the Rogue Valley Symphony, and loves teaching her violin students every week. In her off time, she love hiking, cooking, biking, and watching Psych.
Adam is a musician based in Salem, Oregon, perfoming the Viola as well as the Violin. He recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a Master's of Music in Viola performance, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate's in Musical Arts. Adam is passionate about classical music, as well as jazz and music from video games. In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his Bernese Mountain Dog, tinkering with computers, and drawing.
Cellist Jonathan Villegas actively teaches his own private studio, coaches chamber music, and
is a freelance performer and chamber musician throughout the West Coast. Since moving to
Oregon in 2019, Jonathan has regularly performed as a Section Cellist with the Rogue Valley
Symphony in Medford, OR, and North State Symphony in Chico, CA. As a native to Houston,
TX, he received his Bachelor’s in Music for Cello Performance at Sam Houston State University
in 2017. Jonathan is currently pursuing his Master’s in Cello Performance as a Graduate
Assistant at Portland State University under the instruction of Hamilton Cheifetz. In his spare
time, he enjoys playing video games, hiking with his Bernese Mountain Dog, gardening, and
spending time with his family. You can find Jonathan performing throughout Oregon as a
founding member of Black Bear Strings.
