When planning our wedding, we knew photography was our #1 priority. Living in St. Louis, MO and getting married a state away in Iowa proved to have its challenges but the easiest part was choosing Bethany as our photographer! After meeting her in person, we knew she was our gal! Bethany made a personal trip to Missouri to shoot our engagement photos, and made our wedding day an absolutely dream with her light-hearted-ness and genuine love for her couples. Bethany is an incredibly talented photographer and one of the sweetest people I've ever met! From our very first conversation, I could tell she genuinely wanted to get to know us and cared about our future marriage, not solely our wedding day. She is professional, organized, and calm. She effortlessly made us feel comfortable and did a great job putting us in poses as well as capturing natural moments. We started out a little behind schedule the day of (totally my fault!) but Bethany didn't bat an eye and was able to make up some time to get us back on track. Choosing favorites from our engagement session and wedding day was near impossible because we loved every moment she captured!

I cannot say enough good things about Bethany. She is truly a gem and we are THRILLED with our engagement and wedding photos. What I liked most about Bethany is that she is not pushy or needy. I've been in weddings before where the photographer was constantly bugging the bride about schedule or what shots she wanted - on my wedding day, Bethany knew exactly what I wanted because we had worked together on a questionnaire prior to the day. She was completely in the background and I hardly knew she was there yet she was always there when she was supposed to be.

She's also incredibly adaptable. We had planned to board a bus to take us offsite for photos, but the bus broke down on the way to get us. Bethany immediately found a good location at the venue and didn't miss a beat. She has a very calm demeanor, which kept everyone very relaxed and natural looking for the photos.

Lastly, we really value how Bethany treats her clients like friends and you can tell she's very invested in getting the shots that you want and that you will look at and cherish for the rest of your life.

When I got engaged there was no doubt in my mind who I wanted to do our wedding photography. I had met Bethany McNeill Photography the previous spring at my brothers wedding and fell in love with how she worked as well as her pictures. She wants you to be yourself while still making you feel like you are the star of the show. Her pictures are absolutely amazing and I would go to her for any special event that I would have in the future. From the Starbucks date to where we first met with her, to the card she sent before the wedding to tell us to go have some alone time at Starbucks. Everything she does is to make you feel comfortable. She is extremely accommodating as well. We had plans to go to several sites and take pictures after the wedding but we decided to just spend time with out amazing bridal party instead. She is willing to drive to you and trust me you will not be disappointed. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Bethany McNeill Photography for capturing our amazing day.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Bethany, is absolutely one of the best photographers I have ever seen. Working with her was the greatest experience! She made everything so easy and fun and I couldn’t have had a better time with her! She worked with me on everything and always had such a positive attitude. She has great ideas and a brilliant mind. She is extremely talented and I highly recommend her!!!! Also her photos are beautiful and I can’t thank her enough!
