Best Place's history & tradition offer a venue unparalleled in Milwaukee. With both indoor & outdoor spaces at the former Pabst Brewery we will help to create a magical & memorable event! There are two venues available, Blue Ribbon Hall & The Great Hall, both beautiful & historic, each with their own unique charm. Recipient of numerous “best of ” awards and one of Milwaukee’s most desirable and iconic event spaces, Best Place is the ideal venue.
Blue Ribbon Hall along with it's associated outdoor courtyard are actually located within a school built in 1858. The buildings reflect the architecture of the early Renaissance of Germany of the 15th & 16th centuries. Remodeled in 1940, the room is adorned with colorful fresco murals, ornate architecture and period furniture & artifacts. In the warmer months the outdoor courtyard is a ideal spot for weddings.
The Great Hall, the original corporate headquarters of Pabst Brewing built in 1880 and includes the former office of Captain Frederick Pabst. Renovated in 2014, "Great" is an understatement, as the original stained glass windows allow natural light to flood the room. You can see the wonderful Milwaukeean history in the wood flooring repurposed from the old brew house along with the ornate woodwork throughout the room. Below The Great Hall, in what was formerly the infirmary, is the Speakeasy, remodeled to resemble a pre-Prohibition taproom.

Great Historic Venue
We loved how gorgeous the hall is. Because of the historic beauty we did not have to decorate at all!! One less thing for us to fret about and it looked better than we could have ever imagined!! The staff was more than accommodating and very friendly; by the end of the night they felt more like guests!! It was perfect!Sent on 01/15/2021

We could not have picked a better venue for our big day! The history, the meaning it had to us (groom's parents moved to Milwaukee because of Pabst), was just beyond anything we ever expected. Kim was lovely to work with, she made us feel at ease throughout the entire process and everything ran so smoothly the day of the wedding. The bartenders were also excellent and so much fun to have there to serve our guests. We chose the Great Hall and had about 140 guests and the room was more than perfect for all the tables, dance floor, food stations, etc. Every time we would get asked where we were getting married at, someone would always say, "We just went to a wedding there and it was SO much fun!". Our guests will most definitely be saying the same thing.Sent on 10/13/2017

We could not have been happier! Hosting our wedding and reception in the Great Hall was perfect for how we envisioned our wedding. And the Event Coordinator, Kimberly, is phenomenal to work with. We've only beend married 3 weeks, but have already talked about throwing a big anniversary party there for year 5 or 10. :)Sent on 12/22/2016
