Best Place at Pabst presents guests with a wide range of event spaces and design influences. There are two main indoor venues within the property: The Blue Ribbon Hall and The Great Hall. Built in 1858, The Blue Ribbon Hall was designed to reflect the architecture of early Renaissance Germany. With this ornate foundation, it was redesigned in 1940 with the addition of colorful frescoes, murals, ornate architecture, and luxurious furnishings. Today, it has been rejuvenated to celebrate those centuries of style and charm, presenting you with an elegant setting for your special celebration. Additionally, in the warmer months, it offers an outdoor courtyard ideal for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and other events. The Great Hall, built in 1880, was the original corporate headquarters of the famous Pabst Brewing Company. Renovated in 2014, it has retained the original glass windows, hardwood floors, and furnishings of this esteemed brewery. For an added experience, the adjoining Speakeasy is an ideal setting for a relaxing refreshment with your nearest and dearest.

Excellent!
I’ve worked multiple weddings at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery, and it’s incredible! As the owner of Beauty Unveiled by Tia, a premier on-location hair and makeup company, I love this stunning historic venue with its original stained glass windows, ornate woodwork, cream city brick, and timeless charm that makes every bridal look absolutely shine. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable, Seamless, and Special Wedding Venue!
We rented the Great Hall for our wedding and could not be happier with our experience! The space is so well maintained and gorgeous. Sarah was extremely responsive to all questions and concerns in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made the entire process as stress-free as possible. They did an amazing job creating a floor plan for our 250-person wedding and streamlining cocktail service. The bar staff was also quick; I never saw a line at the bar. All in all, this was a beautiful and unforgettable space and I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you Best Place, Sarah, and team!

Great Experience with Best Place
We did the Blue Ribbon Hall through Best Place at Place for our recent wedding and couldn’t have been more pleased with how it all turned out. We mainly dealt with Sarah, their on-site manager, and she was graciously able to walk us through everything we needed to know to get ready for our big day. We had looked at a few other venues in the area and felt the value of everything they offered at Best Place along with its prime location in Downtown Milwaukee would make it the perfect option. Guests throughout the evening commented on the beautiful aesthetic of the venue and we hardly did any decorating at all given the space’s natural charm and decor. The bar service was fantastic and our bartenders were cheery and speedy throughout the busy evening. The courtyard (included with the booking for the Blue Ribbon Hall specifically) was perfect for our ceremony and for guests that wanted to step outside during dancing. We were also able to take our Family photos along with many others on-site and they turned out GORGEOUS. We had a total of 115 guests and felt it was comfortable with that amount of people and didn’t have to break down anything aside from our sweetheart table to get into the dancing portion of the evening. We did leverage the mezzanine for a few tables which we dubbed the “Party Deck” and those guests said they had a blast up there. As an FYI, the Best Place at Pabst also has another space called the Great Hall which would have also been a great option if our guest list was any bigger. Overall, would highly recommend this venue based on our experience.

Best Wedding Venue!
We had our wedding at the Pabst Best Place in the Great Hall on 11/11/23. I fell in love with this venue the moment we walked in. This venue is one of the most beautiful venues in Milwaukee. We got married upstairs and it was so beautiful with the stain glass windows shining behind us during the ceremony. Our hall had the speakeasy and our guests loved it. It was perfect for cocktail hour.
Our wedding was perfect and a huge thank you to the amazing staff who made that happen. We worked with Sarah before the wedding and she was always so fast with responses to all our questions and helped us prepare for the day. She was also very accommodating and went out of her way to available for us. On the wedding date, Josh was a huge help. He checked in with us continually and made sure things went smoothly.
Call and book a tour! You won’t regret it!

Pabst Best is the best
Pabst Best Place was the first venue my fiancé and I were like yes this is the venue. We loved the woodwork, stain glass artwork and the history. We loved the captain's courtyard and had our ceremony there. Working with Mark and Sarah was amazing. They made things very easy from start to finish. The place is so beautiful we really did not need many decorations at all. Our wedding was beautiful and worry free. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful and historic venue
Our guests raved about this historic and classic Milwaukee venue! Sarah and the rest of the Best Place team were so friendly, accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch! The bar package was extremely flexible and the space made for beautiful photos.

Had the Best Time at Best Place!
The Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery was an amazing venue. It is a beautiful location and the staff were easy to work with. We were also able to stay at a nearby hotel and remain within walking distance the whole weekend - even in the dead of winter in Milwaukee. The space was also a great value - especially compared to other, similar spaces in Milwaukee. Our guests had so much fun before the wedding going on a tour of the buildings and looking through the gift shop. Finally, they were very flexible - allowing us to reschedule by almost a year due to COVID-19. It was a really great venue, and I would suggest it to anyone.

There is no better place to hold your wedding!
The Best Place was perfect for our ceremony and reception. Sarah and the entire staff took such great care of us and our guests. They did everything they could to make us feel safe and taken care of. All of our guests were mesmerized by the beauty and history of everything the buildings offer. We knew when we first walked in to do the tour that it was the place we would be getting married.
